Hi guys, looking for a bit of help regarding private registrations. I have a 54 plate zed and I'm looking to get that plate changed for something a bit better on the eye. I have spotted one online R26 MCS Which 26 age at birthday next month and my initials MC. Can I put this style of reg on my car? I have read the rules on the dvla website but I'm still a little unclear from the terminology it seems to go back on itself a little. Thanks.

That is a nice finish on those wheels. Still too similar to my rays which will be on for the winter months no doubt anyway. Btw nice autobots logo!

It certainly looks the business but I think the colour of the car and lighting conditions lend itself to the photos. I'd like to see the results in an outdoor sunlight comparison.

They do look pretty good. Are they fabric seats of vinyl like some other sparco models? Mind you for the price it's not far off a re-trim of the leather seats. I wouldn't mind some alcantara at the centre sections.

Ruff racing wheels mate just got them from another user. They'll be on their way for a freshen up shortly.

I like that zed with the gold wheels but I couldn't help but think Subaru colour scheme. I really like colours that are subtle but aggressive if you can understand that.

I totally agree with that I love the shadow chrome on my days as it goes well with the azure. Unfortunately I don't have the cajones to go a crazy colour in the centre. I never actually considered bronze.

Yeah I agree. I love black wheels but the design is sometimes lost because of it. My current rays are shadow chrome which I do like but wanting a change as I intend to keep the Rays as a backup.

Alright guys. I'm debating with myself on what colour scheme to go with for the wheels I've just bought. The two options I am thinking of are Refurbed the exact same with chrome lip and gloss black centre. Or fully gloss black. Pic for reference. Ps I wasn't lazy to put the wheel on. My locking wheel nut threads had gone so need to get that sorted first. Cheers

I have an aftermarket exhaust. Not sure on branding from what I can see it looks to be custom made and a very well made one at that. I also have HFCs and a popcharger intake. My car has a great overrun noise where it gurgles nicely from the exhaust with the occasional slight pop and bang, which is exactly what I am after. To my knowledge though the car hasn't had a remap so it may be down to the HFCs and exhaust alone.

I think I seen this car coming out of Buchanan galleries car park as I was going in.

Some cars are just made to pull these sort of things off like lambos but not a zed, not for me. A zed to me works better with some subtle mods keeping its curves and subtle aggressiveness.

Hi guys. Having a bit of trouble finding the paint code on my 54 azure blue zed. Car goes to the body shop in a couple weeks n he's just asked that if I can message him up with the paint code he'll get started on my bonnet that's in his possession. Every time I search on here someone tells the person their code before telling them how to find it lol. I was told inside of the door but it wasn't on any the labels in my door. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I was contemplating that for some time haha. Couldn't even think about the 35mm drop version.

Next update on bits ordered. Bilstein b6 shocks (on back order so a few weeks till I get them) Tein 15mm drop springs. HR bonnet from Nissan. Goes to body shop in a fortnight. Carbon fibre wing mirror covers. 19" ruff wheels. Plus some decent rubber. Wasso plenum spacer ordered. Awaiting Torqen for a new clutch slave cylinder and braided line. Next possible update after they are all fitted could be a carbon fibre nismo v1 wing. Pics of bits fitted soon.

I meant to upload this sooner to be honest. I got this product to do wing mirror plastics and door trims etc. I must say I'm very impressed with the real blackness it brings up and it's also lasted. I used it around 3 weeks ago and all trim is still deep black even after quite harsh weather up here in the Glasgow area over the last few weeks. The one thing I thought I'd give it a try on though was the centre console. Mines was slightly dull faded and heading towards grey. A sparingly used drop on a cloth and the buffed down with a microfibre left the console back to an original looking finish. A little shiny and slightly greasy at first but then after a day it's set in an leaves a great look. Actually stopped me from spraying it in the future. Anyway here's a pic over 3 weeks on. Maybe one of you guys have are in a similar position as I was.

I use big standard brembos. I find them a very comfortable pad with good braking efficiency. Not snappy or grinding etc and since I don't track my car I can't complain.
