I had some leftover cash from my birthday and treated myself to a new camera with the aim to maybe starting to get into photography. I got a sony hx300 and my aim is to get some great car pics from meets and also some good video footage at them also. Now i'm a complete novice but I thought I'd share some of the first pics I have taken... obviously of the zed! The new wheels can see the lip better now i've taken a pic with a better camera. Enjoy guys!

This on your wheels or mine? I had custom centre caps made with the zed logo for my wheels. You can also get a set of custom zed centre caps for Rays from a member trader on here. I can't remember his name now.

They Rays look great, it's the same finish I have on mine and they look great on a zed!

The wheels are on. I chose to get them refurbed in gloss black. I took about 10 photos but I don't think any of the photos do them just and really need to be seen in person to see how aggressively they look in the arches with the bigger lip on the rears especially. Anyway here's one letting you lot see them. I think some tein springs are in order for the correct arch fitment. Just wish my bilstein shocks would hurry up and I could get them on.

Just to let you guys know I chose to go with a gloss black finish and asked for it be as shiny a gloss as possible. I've always had the itch for black wheels so I've got it done. I can always change if I get bored. Here's a finished pic not on the car yet.

Looks good. I have a spare wheel waiting for the cash flow to open up a bit to send mine off to them.

Right guys. what wheel nuts have you chosen to buy? I got an blue finished set from eBay paying a reasonable price and they are just the worst quality I'm not even sure I'd trust the nuts for their actual purpose. Should've just done it right the first time. So let's hear your suggestions.

Great colour choice for a zed! The spacers are such a vital mod with Rays. Make them look 100x better.

A test fit today. Off for a refurb in Monday I do quite like the colour scheme as is. I keep imagining them clean and I'm enjoying the look.

Hey man there is certainly a lot of zed users recently popping up around Glasgow including myself late last year. Probably the most expensive common issue would be banana arms. There is loads of threads on this but I'm sure you could meet up with some of us n discuss each other's knowledge of the cars.

I've certainly never thought of matte so thanks for bringing these ideas up Lrf4n. I've never done chrome wheels so I'd like to take a stab at that for the outer lip the centre in a matte finish sounds appealing. I'm gonna have a google through titanium wheels.
