  1. did you have any previous wrapping experience? Impressive work soo far!
  2. Phew saves me from getting mine sprayed next week!
  3. I thought they came gloss black... More body shop money!
  4. I'd really love a 240z for a build. I'd put a vq35DE in one along with modern suspension etc. old school style modern performance that's the perfect mix.
  5. For everyone on here with Facebook I suggest you follow an actor well know us. Sung Kang or as most on here would know him as Han from the fast and furious films. The reason I say to follow is because for about the last 5 months he purchased a run down 240z and is restoring it himself. The guy is doing an incredible job and just tonight posted a complete suspension setup that he is putting on it and it's impressive equipment. Posts more pictures of the car than anything else I've noticed which is great.
  6. Yep go to Nissan. Same price if not cheaper than a replica and no fitment issues.
  7. I'm beginning to think Scotland is becoming zed country. Not that I'm complaining hope to see you at some of the events with the increasing zed count!
  8. That would be me and rob If I don't like the coil over route I'll be swopping back asap It was indeed. I didn't realise you were the previous comment. Can't wait to get that setup on my zed! So hopefully soon I can give my thumbs up to this combo.
  9. I have put on 19s at that size and I thought it felt noticeably slower. Then I done a 0-60 even without a high Rev start and it put those doubts to bed!
  10. I'm currently waiting on my bilstein b6 shocks to be delivered then I will be using the minimal drop tein springs as I've read a few users state this was a great setup for an improvement without being too harsh.
  11. Excellent work glad to see there's been no major issues in the installation process.
  12. Welcome and that's the exact same regi you have put up as mine haha. Let's see some pics of the car!
  13. I think rt performance a trader on here sells them.
  14. Are you going to be selling these bush kits Adrian? What's your price on them if you are?
  15. Very good. Would be great if they put it into production soon!
  16. That's my point, the 40/50% I get over get no body work scraping (bumper/Skirts) The other percentage is mainly speed humps which are to high and thing, i.e. can't get my rear wheels on before the front's leave. I don't attempt those. But I'm retardedly low. So I can promise you you'd be fine with Springs. It's all about how you take a speed bump, I bet there is a speed bump I could get over without scraping, where even a standard ride heighted zed would scrape due to the wrong approach. Yeah I do see your point and as I said the speed bumps aren't a major worry because as you know if you approach them correctly then you can get over them no problem. When I go into town there's a car park that I need to use and the ramps to each floor are quite steep even coming down I will hit the bumper and this is before my lip is added. Definetly not car friendly in Glasgow. Haha
  17. The majority of speed humps do not worry me, some that my workplace can put in place (work in country parks) can be pretty severe. It was more aimed at the body scraping I think the twins will still be the outcome but just wondering what anyone else has used in a similar situation.
  18. Yeah I know about the purchase of bilstein possibly becoming unusable. I purchased when I ran Rays even with a bigger tyre profile gave a larger gap but since I put my 19s on and let the suspension settle I'm not sure the gap in the arches would be enough to drop even small amounts without rubbing and any further issues with body scraping. That's a good idea about contacting bilstein. I am not overly swayed on coilovers as I see most kits within my budget <£6/700 have mixed reviews.
  19. Can the above title be done. I have bilstein b6 shocks on their way as we speak. My thoughts now turn to springs. With the car tipping 90k miles I think it's long overdue some fresh springs. I had planned on getting the tein springs with minimal drop but since I put my 19" wheels on and I have a mines front lip getting added plus intend to get Tarmac side steps. My work though has speed bumps and I have trouble scraping in most multi storey car parks. Is there higher performing springs with standard height. A pic for reference to my current height
  20. Yeah looks good but the inner polisher in me is thinking stone chips haha.
  21. I've kinda moved in with my new GF so no playing recently, I'm having surgery later this week though so I've setup the PS4 ready for some recovery time... hopefully I'll finish the witcher at last! You can get various endings, so watch how you play it out
  22. I've been hitting the games hard over the last couple months. Finished the witcher - fantastic. Finished the new batman- never getting tired of calling on the batmobile. Now I'm playin elder scrolls online for the ps4 it's not bad gameplay glitches are getting less and less but the story is really failing to capture me and if I'd to sit and listen to all the dialogue from side quests I'd still be level 4.
  23. I can't make this tartan Tarmac as I'm at work this weekend. Typical as I've just bought a new camera.
  24. Seen this on Facebook last night. It was one of those "that's enough internet for one day" moments.
