Just thought I'd mention that i recently switched to Admiral as well ... I was previously with Bell Insurance, who are actualy part of the same group as Admiral ... But after getting some quotes on the internet, Admiral was coming up at £490 cheaper than the Bell renewal quote This is the cheapest insurance I've had since owning the Zed ... I'm sure it's still more than most of you are paying though ...

I've had similaar issues with file recovery programs too... If I can't recover the data with the HDD as it is then I normally just do a quick format as you mentioned and then try again ... So far it's always worked out ok ... Good Luck!

I had the exact smae issue last year when it got really cold ... It kept coming back while the weather was cold ... but stopped once it was warmer ... If you're still covered under warranty then you may as well have it checked out if it returns ..

Congratulations on the purchase .. If the cubby on the Zed lifts up then you'll need to change it for a re-tractable type.

It's possible to do both ... I've currently got a Birdview Sat Nav fitted to my Zed but I'm planning to change over to a Nurrish style Sat Nav unit in the next month or so ...

I'd start by replaced the non-return valve which someone mentioned earlier is under the brake fluid cover.. They are only a couple of quid from Halfrauds..

I haven't really had a chance to set up the OBDII software on my new laptop yet ... but I'll try get it sorted this weekend if I get time ... I'll let you know when I've got it sorted and we can read the codes off if it's still a problem ..

That's exactly what I'm using it for ... works brilliantly!

I've currently got a set on my Zed at the moment and haven't a bad word to say about them! They are far superior to the Bridgestone RE040's that I had replaced ... and after a year of use they have no signs of cracking whatsoever ... I think the tyre guy is telling porkies ...

I had a similar issue last year when it got really cold ... In my case ... the code that was stored was regarding the Heated O2 sensor. I kept resetting it over the winter but it stopped happening once the weather got a bit warmer.

That's really cool ... Would it work in conjunction with the auto fold mirrors?

If it's a standard Nissan fitted Sat NAv then you already have a Birdview system. In terms of upgrades, there's not really much you can do with them apart from getting an updated map disc (not cheap) The other option you have is removing the Nissan system and replacing it with a custom system like Cookbot or Nurrish does.

I had the heated O2 sensor throw a CEL last winter on my Zed too ... I just kept resetting it until the weather got warmer and it's not happened since ...

Alright mate, I've just tried the steps above on my zed and I get the same results. With the car ignition on, I moved the mirrors out.. Then just leave the mirror switch on the middle setting and then they work as normal..
