Working from home this morning and popped downstairs to make a cuppa and this greeted me at the bottom of the stairs snoring away.... She's always liked to sleep half in her bed half on the floor. Edited as iPhone decided to change "morning" to "meowing" rather apt for this thread mind

Been a couple of months since anyone has posted and I thought it was about time I have an update on Hetti. She will be 1 at the end of December, you can see her training is all starting to click with her with the exception of recall. She's brilliant until there are distractions and no matter how much food you have she heads for the distraction. She is still very demanding when she sees someone or another dog to go and say hello but she's far too bouncy. Most people are fine about it and love the fact she gets so excited to say hello but we are trying to discourage her anyway we can. She's been on a a diet the last couple of months and is almost ideal now (she piled on the weight after being neutered) She's so much part of our life now and she dictates the home schedule Anyway here is a picture from the other day when she was waiting for her mum to come home

Just got in from walking the dog and saw an example of bad road use from each side of the coin..... Firstly the dog stopped dead in a particularly badly lot section of our walk (she has a flashing light on her harness) and she kept looking behind. All of a sudden a paperboy on a bike appeared out of the darkness and whiz zed right across a pathway we were just about to head across. No lights and dressed in black -paper bag was also dark in colour not luminous Second was on Wrexham road heading out of chester (for those that know) a straight of about 1/4 mile with a slight dip near a private school with a 50 limit . HGV doing about 40 with a few cars behind it. As soon as it could the second car accelerated past no problem then the third car decided he could overtake both the first car and HGV. He must have stayed in 5th in a 1.0 and didn't spot the car coming the other way which was slightly obscured by the dip. He made it by cutting into the HGV's path, the HGV Slamming on his brakes to avoid tail ending the car and the other car swerving into the bus lane. I was expecting to have to run down the road to help it was that close. Utter idiots. On a lighter note we see a couple of cyclists most mornings exercising their husky dogs, the dogs and the cyclists are very well lit and it looks like a couple of reindeer coming towards you. Makes me smile every time we see them

I personally have bought physical so far as the digital is full RRP and you can buy the game cheaper from a store I must admit though the not swapping business is appealing but when bits a minimum of £7 per game saving it soon adds up.

Well I've pretty much disabled mine as the logging in twice thing was really doing my nut in. I don't have sky connected and my tv has limited control through it. May disconnect until it proves more useful

Not played online as to be fair I know I'd probably be ranked as a crash happy **** but not intentionally trying to do that if you know what I mean. Playing with full damage in career mode certainly helps focus though.

I think it takes an "average" over a number of races if you see what I mean. I think it is constantly evolving too. Dread to think what mine is like I think it's s superb idea which seems to have been well implemented.

Looking at your drivatar's erratic behaviour I thought it must mean you're "special" I should record a race next time I see something worthy. Your drivatar sure is good at Spa though I didn't realise there was a limited edition unless that was day one? I could only choose FIFA

Quite nasty in North Wales too. 400 homes evacuated in Rhyl - I know it's not the nicest of places but that awful for those folks. I also saw some pictures of Degamwy on twitter and the promenade doesn't exist anymore. Stay safe all

Re forza: It was the super mini series Suits you appear in all my career races now and feature in at least silver positions as does Ekona. I think it must just put you in a competitive car (with garish livery) and apply your driving style. Both of you should've racked up some points today Also been reducing my assists and switching damage in really does make it a whole different game and for the better. I think I only have TCS and racing line on now. One question I do have is both of you two have a little crown above your GT when listing lap times, what does that mean?

I did understand and in single player (career) I believe it does use modified cars for the drivatar's up to the restriction of the class you're in.

Thanks Suits, The only option is to disable kinect in the kinect menu. Ahh hold on found it under my profile and sign in, security and pass key options. I'd just like it to power on with my GT signed in as default. Can't find that anywhere. Just found something else out too. In the xbox network settings it has my NAT type as open but in ghosts it shows as moderate. I have had both as open in the past and I've just reset everything including holding the xbox power for 7 seconds or so to so a hard shutdown but still the same. Will have to do some research and see if it's using ports other than the live ones. Rather annoying as I'm getting slaughtered and nothing to do with me being rubbish as the replay shows me clearly being shot before I even see the 12 year old who is bunking off school

I am finding something particularly annoying. So kinect knows I'm me and signs me in to my GT from recognition.... Why do I then have to sign into each game when I launch them? I can't find a setting anywhere and to be perfectly honest I'd just prefer the xbox to always sign in as my GT regardless as it's my box and no one else uses it.

Sorry bit OT but if this is Version 5 of being an idiot can we know what the other 4 were like? I'm really sorry, couldn't resist as when I looked at the title that's what I thought. Hope you get it sorted quickly and cheaply. So what have you replaced it with?

I was doing the super mini or whatever it's called championship and it was pretty much all tracks. In fairness your drivatar was consistently in the top 5. You must have racked up credits as I did 8 races and you were in them all.

Worked through lunch so ended up having a quick championship. Bl00dy hell suits your drivatar is a kamikaze

Ok so in career mode it inserts friends drivatar's into your game. Depending in the race depends on what if any mods you can take in. I suspect the cars are modded to the limits of the class or race. The rest of the field is made up of strangers drivatar's. When you buy a car you have the option of creating a custom paint job, choose one someone has already created or select a factory colour That's how I understand it anyway.

As odd a question as that is, I will actually take the time to answer it seriously. Nope, no probs at all. Good point though, never even thought about that as I get older. What is weird is that this time next year, I'll be closer to 40 than to 30...! Celebrated my 40 just over a week ago and you know I still feel in my early 20's and I'm only just starting to grow up I think it's a mindset to be honest but your body does start to let you down, had a bout of bad back for the last week

It does, but we all look down on the impoverished 360 owners I think there are party chat limitations though. Just had a quick blast around Bathurst and a rather dodgy snot green evo looked like it was in a game of destruction derby.... I think it had mixed tyres on and it had "Ekona" as a GT
