  1. Just finished a session on BF4 on the xbox one. Doing my nut in as each time I go to it I seem to randomly go back to missions I've already done. If the save game worked correctly I'd think this was a superb title
  2. Seems the latest is his condition has improved slightly. A little encouraging
  3. He made it boring for me.... Was a little shocked at the news, hope he pulls through.
  4. Gartner are an independent techogy research company. They can be useful as an indication for executives to benchmark against but typically (in my experience) means very little when on the ground. The quadrant graph posted points to them being very effective however it doesn't explain what other factors it's takes into account other than stopping infection..... To be honest even the top 0 day products are all fallible to some extent.
  5. What a load of old rubbish! Yes Norton use to be very resource hogging but that's only because it was a decent AV. It is a lot better on performance now and is still the number one AV voted by Gartner who actually know what they are talking about. Pardon? In my experience it's bloated expensive and not very effective but yes it could've changed in the last year or so which was my last encounter with the product. I may also know what I'm talking about.... But then maybe I don't P.s not a fan of symantec products at all based on my overall experience from enterprise down to end user so my opinion maybe biased
  6. Norton and macafee are awful, resource hogging and not very good. Please don't waste your hard earned in those. As has been said go for a recommended free AV such as avast or avg ( the latter was good but I found wasn't as effective after the first year or so) and malware bytes or other spyware:malware protection. All free and very effective.
  7. I often ask a couple of guys I know in our "red team" what they recommend and for the last fee years it's been avast. That along with Microsoft security it's pretty good.
  8. I'm working, I did have the option of working from home however I'm not sure I could put up with the OH being all festive. She's had the "Christmas 24" channel on none stop since it launched, if I see another Christmas movie we will need a new tv. So I've come into the office for some peace and quiet
  9. Picked up BF4 yesterday (yes I'm old and don't do digital downloads) and am enjoying the campaign so far. That said a 1.1gb download to patch system freeze issues amongst others and within 5 minutes of my first session I have experienced this issue. Not seen it since but I had to drop back to dashboard and quit the game from there. The destructible terrain is brilliant but I do feel its a little easy considering I'm on the hardest setting.
  10. ? I attend a LOT of "interesting" conference calls I loved Elite, I think Ekona and I talked about the crowd sourcing for this latest iteration earlier in the thread if not in A different thread. I really do hope it goes gold and has a large percentage of what the original was all about.
  11. very funny and I must admit as I was reading it I was about to get on my very high horse. I was pulled over 11ish Sunday morning, officer very polite. I had had a drink Saturday evening of approximately 4 pints. Even though I knew I'd be ok I was still nervous. Blew a zero. If I'm going out to drink I never take the car not even if I know I'm only having a single drink it's get a lift or a cab.
  12. Please tell me SMD isn't inline for the job
  13. Please let me know what you think with the online side of things. I'm close to caving myself.
  14. Bruno is so proud of them he will post them again I'm sure feck I'm turning into whacky :surrender:
  15. Dunks, they look a very mischievous trio. Thanks for sharing
  16. Yeah I figured that would be the case. Ghosts is so broken it's untrue, it had less than 5k players globally online at 9pm last night.... I'm guessing no one wants to touch it.
  17. My GT is "Holmsey Fodder" if you want to add Got really peeved tonight. I've been chasing down a NAT issue for COD ghosts. Xbox has me down as open (after opening additional ports that live for the one uses) but ghosts was still moderate. Had to put the one into the DMZ to rectify which I'm not happy about as things like that bug me big time! Anyway I deludedly thought this would resolve the issue whereby everyone seemed to have physchic perks and was able to shoot me before I even appeared around the corner the replay showed me appearing from..... How wrong coils I be, not only that is still happening but after the 1gb update that was thrust upon me today but now it seems as soon as I spawn I'm shot as the game now spawnsme in front of the enemy probably one game in three. I'm done with it, I've not played battlefield since "1942" and tempted to revisit it.
  18. Really sorry to hear that, she looks gorgeous in that picture. I'm sure Brandy is crossing the rainbow bridge as we speak
  19. Squee, we are using Fido which is based in the scout hut by Telfords warehouse. We did try another which was fine for the basics but they didn't limit the number of dogs so it was bedlam some weeks. Fido insist on a one on one initial consultation then it's a weekly class with a maximum of 8 dogs at a similar level. They've shut down for Christmas now however if you intend to take Nismo then I'd speak to them now so at least you're on the list for the new year. http://www.fidodogtraining.co.uk We NEED new pictures of him
  20. Ahhh heck it's a sort of repost http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70617-a-repo-of-a-z/page__fromsearch__1 Sorry
  21. All awesome, keep them coming Zeus, my brother has a ridgeback crossed with a St Bernard.... She's a beast
