In play if you cook baked beans in a pan? I've recently gone back to this as the other half changed our baked bean brand and they didn't taste quite right. Now however they taste great! This is serious you know and just to show you how much so....

Love Rum. I typically only drink the stuff in a Cuba Libre and only when I'm waste deep in a pool however I did enjoy a bottle of Morgans spiced with Jamaican Ginger beer over the Christmas period. I may have to widen my net on Rum PM rtbiscuit, he became a bit of a rum aficionado before the twins were born. I do remember his diaries actually. If Rum was a factor in twins I'm dropping it I can't drink them neat for some reason. That said I did try working my way through the whiskey options in an Irish bar in Madrid (don't ask) a few years back as the colleagues I was with persuaded me to do so. The bar manager actually joined us too and it ended very messy. I even ended up bringing home several bottles of JD single barrel which I did enjoy neat.

On another note, I've been off sick the last couple of days and we had a new type of call.... Kitchen scrappage scheme... WTF!?

Ok so when I have baited them in the past I usually take about 5 minutes trying to establish which company they are calling from. They word it very clever if you ask them if they're Microsoft they deny it but insist they are from a windows support department. The last one I had enough time on was doing exactly what Pete mentioned and taking me to event viewer where I would be "amazed in front of my eyes" at all the virus and malware errors on my PC. I also ask them where they got my number from and how sure they know I have an issue. Typically they avoid the number question and state a wrong name (a name we have debt companies calling our number asking for) but they tell me an MCSE has been surveying our area and notified them of the problems originating from my PC. I nearly spat my coffee out laughing when I heard that one

Don't they use similar things to test the water table? My first thought was a test bore for gas/shale

I had one the other day for the first time in months. Strung him along for 5 minutes or so then realised I was making dinner and needed to attend to that so told him I knew what he was up to and put the phone down.

Very sad news. When interviewed he came across as a very proud father and a huge motor racing fan. R.I.P

Police to get a £250k Supercar...What for...???
Fodder replied to WhackyWill's topic in Off Topic Discussion
i think folks must have an Ekona filter. I agree it's a publicity stunt that works for the police as well as mclaren. (Spellcheck tried to change that to Clarence ) Oh and inflation gets worse it's now 250k according to whacky :surrender: Not the words of Whacky...That's what it said in the article...£240k..see below Quote. Police have announced the latest tool in their armoury to keep Britain’s roads safe and free from criminals – a £240,000 supercar that can hit top speeds of 207mph. Thread title says £250k -

We thought exactly the same. However as others have said they aren't hurting anyone and there are much worse fixations out there...... Like supporting Spurs

I've put down my "connection" to cats as my dad had a soft spot, he saved a few over the years from various industrial complexes. One of them became my pet/best friend. She waited for me to get home from school and would look for me. She would only respond to me, she had a litter and I looked after all of them. She sadly went blind and according to my parents went to a farm where she had the run of the place. I've always put the affinity they seem to have down to "sooty".

Yeah there's this one drivatar that drives like he's got mixed budget tyres...... I do wonder though if that's an accurate representation of how he really plays the game. I really try to get clean smooth laps but find it's almost impossible due to the randomness of it

I was going to post this in the PS4 discussion thread but couldn't find it on my phone so didn't use search. Anyway, I went around to my OH sisters house last night as her BF couldn't get anything but strict NAT on ghosts. I tried opening the documented ports but still no joy, even tried putting his PS4 in the DMZ which actually blocked it from getting a connection. Was really doing my nut in as I had a similar problem on the one for ghosts. He's a BT ADSL customer and had already called them and their advice was to call his laptop manufacturer for help. WTF Anyway he's got an old home hub 2, swapped it out for my old home hub 3 and bingo worked perfectly. Thought I'd post this here as just googling the problem shows there are plenty of folks out there with similar problems all with differing providers. Anyway I didn't have any game time on the PS4 but I used the controller quite a bit and it felt quite nice, seemed a little heavier than the one controller (good thing) and the triggers felt well positioned. Hoping I get some game time some time in the near future as it's always been on the cards I'd get one at some point.

What a great end to a rather sad story. It reminds me a little of the time my aunt went to Australia for 6 months. She trusted my mum with her beloved cat and within a few days it had got out and disappeared. We searched high and low with the odd sighting in the area. Anyway about 3 weeks after going missing it turned up in the back garden, we left good out as it would scarper if you went near. Over a few nights it gained more trust in me and eventually came into the house. It was my best friend for the next few months. I've always found cats "like" me for some reason. Always want to come and say hello even when they don't really do people. You have quite a herd now Pete

Just completed BF4 campaign on hard dispite it forgetting saves and having to do several missions multiple times. Great game but not difficult enough. Will give MP a look later. Also just fired ghosts up for the first time in a few weeks to see if the MP had improved..... I only had one game and it's the best game I've had so far. Fingers crossed it's more stable and more folks are online post Christmas. Happy gaming all
-
I'll add Sarnie later too. Hope my drivatar isn't too crash happy

Stability is good so no real update but reasonably encouraging news I'd say
