  1. Don't wish for what you don't have but hope for what you do have.
  2. I hope I make sense but I've had a sh1tty week and an now having a beer
  3. Do I have to go through it all again..... I'm not being sarcastic or anything but lives are made by the individual. Yeah you can be born into money etc but it's all about making the most of what you have and trying to wish for someone else's wouldn't work out the way you would think or want it. Enjoy what you have not what someone else seems to have
  4. I once witnessed a senior citizen turn into a parking spot next to a brand new XF jag, he clipped his front right against the jags bumper he continued to try to drive forward realised he couldn't so reversed back and tried again This time he succeeded..... In rubbing his right front bumper the entire length of the jag and got out of his car as though nothing happened. The whole time this was going on the jag owner sat in his car totally astonished. About half a dozen people including me were just rooted to the spot open mouthed. I felt sorry for both, the old boy will have lost his license as he obviously wasn't fit to drive (he may have once been a total petrol head for all we know) and also the jag owner who went from a moment of joy to sadness in the space of a couple of minutes. EDIT: not really an idiot but a car park incident.
  5. Been trying to watch this today but work meetings kept getting in the way. Finding it enjoyable though
  6. Anyone having problems signing into their GT tonight? Getting error 0x8004888d and the tinternet is full of it tonight
  7. I love this thread, each time it has an update it makes me smile. It took a while to see Jesus Lava but now I have it looks like he's holding an egg and studying it. His father must've asked him which should come first....
  8. I'm 6'3" and <cough> 20 stone <cough> the last time I was said to be fit was 20 years ago but I have fun. Take my time and it's a way for me to lose weight and build up my fitness levels. Even the 1.2 miles each way to work mount up but I plan on doing more off road type activities moving forward.
  9. I quite like Kimi, a friend met him in an Oslo nightclub a few years back and said he was a really nice friendly guy too. The sport needs characters like him to be fair. While I agree the team will be 100% focused on Alonso I think the fact the rules have changed so much whoever adapts the quickest will probably be champion. It's the first season in years where I can see myself wanting to watch whole races never mind the whole season
  10. Update, tried them out this morning (still full of cold) and they have made a difference not sure if use them off-road yet though as I can see a few falls occurring
  11. Next you will be asking for custard too Come on you know what I mean though lol.
  12. couldn't resist. I must admit I skim read a lot of the time.
  13. I see there was a post after me due to the numbering but I don't see anything....
  14. She forces me to.... I'm a slave I tell thee
  15. Took the plunge and bought some entry level SPD Pedals single sided and shoes as I use the bike to commute. I've set the tension to low so it's easy to get out of them in a hurry. Quick blast around the block (I'm full of cold mind) I can already feel the difference. Hoping to give them a proper stretch once this cold shifts
  16. I've put tobasco in before now; it would be rude not to use some "100% pain" I have in the cupboard Edit: bloody iPhone changed tobasco to tobacco. Maybe I should efag it
  17. Saying its unavailable on the wunderfone EDIT: Working now I've posted the above
  18. Some good interesting points here, thank you. I'm the first to admit I'm naive about these things but that"vaping" ad is just so wrong on many levels it made me think. To me as someone who has never smoked and has no intention of trying these things I appreciate you all responding in a good balanced way. I know I can come across as a pompous pratt at times I do believe it needs regulating and more impartial research to be fair. Some of you have said that you only but UK produced products, without regulation I wouldn't trust that statement. After all we trusted the major food distributors that we were buying beef.
  19. SuperStu, I thought as much but hadn't seen it mentioned here. I just think not enough is known and apart from it being a replacement for cigs it also seems to be aimed as a recreational activity for none smokers too. Most of my family are smokers so i do understand the addictive nature. Kudos to those who have been able to break the habit
  20. I've read a few posts and as being someone who has only ever been a passive smoker it sounds a little ridiculous. I don't mean the smoking bit as I understand addiction although I disagree with it being "cool", I just think 12 year old who has no opinion of their own. Anyway on to electronic cigarettes; i just don't think enough research has been done on them as to what health benefits/risks are involved. It's unregulated and seems to want to market it as a weapon in your social armoury. I find it interesting that supposedly intelligent people aren't questioning this. Anyway as I said I'm fortunate enough to never have tried smoking (I do have quite an addictive personality) but I am interested to know if you smokers feel the same. After all fags were once prescribed by doctors. To lighten the mood reminds me of black adder episode with potatoes
  21. You see I agree about the bean juice, it does seem thicker and runny bean juice just isn't right. I used to like the Branston beams but she doesn't so it's tesco own brand It used to be the light one until she realised there was absolutely no difference other than price
