  1. Really ?? That's odd. Does it show any Xbox One games and achievements ? It does now as I was on earlier and noticed it now had you as playing it 1day ago. The DD has now come down to 49.99 a drop of a fiver in a day :scare:
  2. Will never happen unfortunately. However multiple options on the gaming front can only mean competition which as consumers can only be a good thing. I honestly think the only difference this gen is exclusive titles..whichever platform you choose is the right choice
  3. I can't add more than what's already been said. Unfortunately the threat of redundancy is over most of the working populations head. That said I know plenty who have been made redundant and it's turned out to be quite a positive thing in their lives. Fingers crossed that's the case for you. The Zed no matter how precious you feel it is at the end of the day it's a tool you use in your life, if you need to change that tool for a while so be it. Good luck and fingers crossed for you. Oh and it maybe worth posting what type of role you do as you never know other zedders may know of roles available!
  4. Suits, just checked your GT to see how far in you are to Wolfenstein and it doesn't list it but bloomin ell 75k achievement points! In other news it was announced they will support external disk amongst other things in the June update. I'm in the beta so will hopefully get the update in a few days. EDIT: I did note in major nelsons blog it only mentions the ability to install or transfer games to the disk not if they will support media playback.
  5. Thanks suits. I think I will give it a chance. Sounds similar (gameplay wise from memory) to my fave in the series which was "return to castle Wolfenstein"
  6. The last Wolfenstein on the 360 was okay but far too much faffing to get places. Will try and get time to read some reviews in the morning before making my decision. I'm old school and not used to not having a demo which usually meant is poop and the fact Doom beta is thrown in smacks of desperation. I really want to like this game though
  7. Anyone bought Wolfenstein and if so any thoughts? I'm working from home tomorrow as she's doing some charity work so I may pop out at lunch to buy (under the radar). I'd buy digital but at £15 premium it's a bit rich for me.
  8. Isn't it when you need a break from the office/other half and fake a requirement to visit "head office" and sit on the boss chair for 30 minutes playing candy crush?
  9. Pretty epic here too but not quite as bad as I've heard your area got it Pete. Knocked out sky and BT broadband for a while too. Michael Owen posted a pic that his house if flooded by about an inch of water too. Can watch lightening for hours, nature puts on impressive shows from time to time.
  10. Hi, I can't help with any of those links but you may want to find out if your employer is involved in the cycle to work scheme. Mine is and I got a specialized hard rock 29" 18 months back, it was in your price range and because the repayments are taken out of your pay prior to tax it can work out at better deals than most places. Just a thought. Good luck Oh and Steve, that looks awesome
  11. Some good info here that I'm sure others will find useful. I know I have to be very careful as my job relies on my credit history too working for a financial institution even though I'm just a geek in the dungeon.
  12. you need to get out more No arguments here
  13. Thanks glrnet. I was having a pop at the press not Mr Whacky himself. It was their unverified sources I referred to. I check every few days to see if there has been any updates and I'm just frustrated about the guff the "press" put out there. It doesn't help anyone least of all the guy himself. I may not have been a huge Schumacher fan, the quote you picked out was from the fact in my opinion he did make it boring due to his dominance much like Vettel these days, it doesn't detract from the fact they are great drivers. In fact I'm a bit of an underdog fan, I loved watching webber and his post race interviews as he was just so honest. Edit: sorry Vettel the last few seasons! I'm more of a button than a Hamilton fan too.
  14. Manphinian has a lot to answer for. I see angry eyes and brow where the barrier is bottom right of the fencing . Like a Mexican standoff
  15. I think Ricey will know definitively. I believe Ekona is correct, even though it's settled it's an indicator for lenders so it will stay on there for a predetermined time from when it's settled not the default date if infact it will expire.
  16. I recently got an LG 55" LED upgrading from a 6year old Sony LCD. The picture quality is leaps and bounds above the Sony which I though was superb and very adequate. The 3d is a bit of a fad to be fair and we only ever use sky hd as a source except when putting a USB stick in the side rather than streaming. That tv Grundy linked looks superb, a bit too good to be true if you know what I mean. Oh and man always need new tech
  17. I saw this earlier too. Also "games with gold" from next month. I'm assuming this will be to showcase Indy games for a short period of time. The retail catalog just isn't big enough to offer the deal they do on the 360.
  18. I said he made F1 boring for me. I didn't say I wish him harm or ill feeling. He's a human being and I don't like to hear of anyone in that situation did I? I also admire his skill and determination and hopefully the latter will see him through this and achieve as good a recovery as anyone could hope for. As for the verified source statement, I agree with you that it's uncertified hence my statement. What I'm getting at is the piece you posted is just nothing new. At least it wasn't giving false hope and speculating about the possible outcomes with no evidence whatsoever. I think those types of articles don't do anything to help Michael or his family. What I'm trying to say is unless the information is coming from a very good source and verified such as those I have mentioned then I don't think it helps. Fingers crossed. P.s chill
  19. I am a fan of motorsports but copying and pasting an article from a newspaper that's just reprinted what we have already been lead to believe is hardly an update from a verified source. Speculation helps no one.
  20. Agreed hence my first paragraph. I honestly don't see the point of posting any links here unless the source is direct from the family, hospital or doctors treating him and verified. The rest could well be got from listening to to a drunk several tables over in a bar that one of the aforementioned sources could well have visited at some point in the past
  21. So nothing new then?! :scare: On a serious note, I still hope for the best but the longer we hear nothing from those that matter (family, hospital, doctors who are actually treating him) the less hopeful I get
  22. Will be picking up Wolfenstein myself but will be keeping all of my appendages thanks very much!
  23. Either that or a magnet....... Ok I'll get my coat
  24. I meant now they are pursuing and it comes to renewal next year Edit: My first post was in response to Kev's advice. Ekona and other have already given you the right advice in my opinion, let the insurance company sort it as if you settle direct and don't inform your insurance as a. You are at fault, the bus was stationary. B. You will pay more than your excess. C. The bus companies insurance will log that you were at fault and paid up which your insurance company will find out about increasing your premium. D. If you don't declare and they find out your insurance will be null and void resulting in you being declined insurance That is how I see it anyway. Good luck
  25. You will still have to declare at renewal time so you won't save anything by going this route. If they ask and you don't declare you could be refused insurance and that will be even more expense....
