I hear you and I'm a physical kind of guy. The trade in is a huge negative to digital and I've used that argument too but do you know how many games over my 30+ years of gaming nice traded in? Only just seen this... Lycra doesn't absorb moisture but the material cycling jerseys are made of will allow moisture to wick away from the body. It all helps the body breathe. I personally have a "dri fit" Nike tee for this reason, I wouldn't want to inflict the vision of me in body hugging material on the world. Some folks just want to get for and sometimes the motivation for that is time trial, others actually want to compete. As I said most clothing will have some branding on it, doesn't mean to say they see themselves as brad or mark. The conversation seems to have loved away from cycling twunts jumping red lights (which would **** me off too) to bike bashing regardless. To be fair your comments passed me by, the "member" who was advocating harm to animals riled me. Yes the dog has done wrong and the poor tortoise is paying the price for the owners poor handling of the dog in both bits past training and it's current situation. Hate is an evocative word though, I do know what you mean as some animals and humans have a certain "vibe". Cats and dogs seem to want to be near me, other animals less so. Take my dog for instance, she thinks every person and dog is her friend with the exception on a couple of occasions where she's blanked either a person or dog where I can't see any reason why.

Re disabled spaces, it's another pet hate of mine however please remember just because the person you see park up and leave their car looks fit and healthy you never know. There was a sad case a couple of years back where a guy punched someone fot and healthy using a space. Turns out he had dropped his disabled wife off at the door and was parking up. He had a blue badge. It's the twunts who park without the badge as Dave mentioned. My sister was wheel chair bound and I'd drop her off and move to a normal bay as I didn't have a badge for her, I was happy to do so as I know how much my sister would have given for the opportunity to walk from one end of a carpark to another

I always go into the centre when they do that. I'll happily turn my engine off and wait One guy started accelerating at me so I held my car keys up in the air to show I literally wasn't going to move, watching him do a hasty 3 point turn was very satisfying. Although I did then leave without doing my shopping because I was paranoid he was going to key my car I've done the exact same thing One of many of my pet hates

I mostly agree but there are a tiny % of dogs who may snap for other reasons outside of the owners control. I debated with myself to phrase it similar to you Andy. Anyway it just riled me when someone encourages harm to an innocent animal. The main focus here is the tortoises recovery and please keep us updated OP

Agreed, also an irresponsible owner is usually to blame for a dogs misdemeanours which the OP has already stated.

Fingers crossed for you and the little guy. I think you've done the right thing in regard to the dog, by the sounds of it the owner is a right douche and doesn't deserve to have the right to keep animals. Any other occurrences with other neighbours you can report?

I can't help advise but I really hope it's superficial and your little friend is ok! There are some really irresponsible dog owners out there EDIT: I'm a dog owner and I know the irresponsible ones are few and far between.

For once I'm ahead of the game. Went down and got a gas refill this morning so just got the steak out of the fridge to bring up to room temp and am prepping the home made potato wedges. Will fire the BBQ up in an hour or so

That car has since been sold on. The lady owner lives about 5 doors from me and never acknowledged me either It's been replaced by a Q5 now.
