Agreed. Only just starting and I can see an improvement they made over the beta....none of the pointing directly at dropped items like ammo and pressing a button to pick them up. The OH just asked me if I'd be down soon to which I responded if she wants me to. Nah she said there's a couple of tv shows I don't like and she wants to watch. Win win

Nah, BETA was 900, upscaled in day one patch, some say it runs better on the Xbox because of it . Best of all on PS4 (just sayin..) http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/186912-ps4-destiny-graphics-look-superior-to-xbox-one-verison-but-barely A colleague just jumped ship from ps to xbox due to the online side of things. The ps4 is the better technically but at the minute the implementation of the xbox wins it for me. I'm a gaming fan and not a brand fan by the way I will get a ps4 at some point no doubt but whatever console you have as long as you're enjoying your gaming that's all that matters

Apologies if that last bit came across as rather negative, it wasn't meant to be. It's great he's home with his family but I guess we are all still in hope he makes a full recovery and can get on with his life as quickly as possible.

An update from his manager today: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-29130742 I guess it's good news he's in his home but the "long and difficult road" still sounds ominous.

Mine is downloads waiting for me to finish work. A colleague have it a quick blast until his son removed the plug so he could use his hair dryer  I've downloaded, installed and linked the iOS companion app but not had a chance to look at that much either

I agree about the beta, it changed my mind.

I have the digital version downloaded and ready to play after midnight, that's on the xbox one though. I wasn't too fussed about the game until I played the beta. Will see how the full game plays Edit: the reason why I wasn't fussed is because it was by the same team as Halo, I could never really get into their games. That said I only played the original on a PC and because of that experience I haven't played any of the others.

Good to hear he's making progress! What a fantastic habitat you've created for them too. Thanks for the update and pictures

Tell you what you can take me out if you like, cheap date to the Harvester They do a good salad... -
I used to jump off and walk my bike past lights when I cycled to Uni, can't see an issue with that really, but I never cycled on the pavement Might as well ride on the pavement all the time in that case and do all the drivers a favour by keeping the roads clearer. Just saying. A lot of the cycle lanes here are shared pavements but end abruptly without clear signage. God help you lot in Germany Edit: oops didn't mean to drag religion into it

Use photo bucket and then attach the Img tag

Will, you live on the bloody game! Mine's packed away for the house move, but it'll come out soon enough. My Xbone went from standby right through to 4OD to watching Educating The East End tonight, without me going anywhere near the controller. How people can live without Kinect, I don't know. I agree kinect has proved to be more useful than I thought.....except when the OH shouts commands at it when I'm in the middle of a game Good luck with the move, very stressful time.

Ruby Wax is in a similar type of vein I guess but no one will have the ability to deliver acerbic lines like she did and just keep talking like nothing had happened. Brilliant! RIP. Sent from my Zed using Nangkang tyres front, RE040's rear Funnily enough I was having something to eat at Gravesend Harvester the other week and Ruby Wax was on the next table :scare: Proof with custard or it never happened I ate it with my apple crumble Birds or home made? -

I think that is the problem, too quick for the forum I'd heard that complaint isn't reserved just for the forum The cartoon did make me laugh though

Me too now I've shelled about for the digital version I wasn't going to get this prior to the beta which I started to enjoy. I've also started playing titanfall after a colleague switched from ps4 to xbox one and that's the only game he has. I couldn't really get to grips with it before but I'm starting to enjoy playing that too. Gaming is great at the minute I must admit.

Yeah I had read up on that and was tempted but there's all kinds of issues with tax/duties that mean at some point it gets looked at and in theory you lose your game catalog. Dave, I agree with your points about price etc and I only really caved in at this point so I could see how the staging of the install worked. I love the idea of not getting up and crossing the 10ft to swap disks too... EDIT: the install was 12gb and is already installed however I'm expecting another update closer to release.

I have to admit that's pretty dumb. The cycle lane thing is an interesting one, they are often poorly designed, poorly signed and usually strewn with debris. I would always opt to use one where I can though as I'd sooner not have a lorry doing 60 within inches of my mushy body. Here's an interesting picture I took on my walk home last night (just after the moped incident). It also demonstrates the poor markings on cycle lanes and roads today.

All good points and as said previously I don't see many commuters being all dressed up but that's the difference from being in a huge metropolis and being in a small city where a cat up a tree is pretty major news. As for law breaking I see many more motor vehicle "operators" violating them. Last night walking home I saw a moped rider in relatively heavy traffic go from the center of the road into the inside and into a bus lane without looking what's in the bus lane. You guessed it a double decker bearing down on him. Did he even know what he had done? No he carried on his merry way down the bus lane none the wiser as the bus driver was on the ball.

Will as I said it wasn't aimed at you but more the practice of the majority "news" outlets. And as you haven't pasted a link I've no idea of the source and if it's even remotely reputable or in the know. They were trying to insinuate the fact his her is up for sale means he won't be needing it. That's utter tosh, it's an expensive item and costs a lot of money not to be used so I'd be selling it too. Also what's to say his family haven't got another on order? I'd sooner them be up front and say "no news from Michael's family but our thoughts are with him". I do on the other hand welcome the news that Mercedes have confirmed they are still supporting him and nothing there has changed

Good point re FIFA. I don't buy it though but the point is applicable to any EA game really I can't see me selling destiny and I thought if give the DD a try, it's already downloaded and ready to play on Tuesday.
