  1. It will be absolutely fine. I have left mine in a Airport car park for over two weeks in Winter and it was perfect started first time. I too left mine for a couple of weeks in an airport carpark but all wasn't well..... It was one of the coldest two weeks and my door locks were frozen solid when I got back to it Op glad all was well
  2. Yeah it's basically a cable that allows you to copy the data from one HDD to the other. It's one time per console/account and they bundled it with any new HDD at first but removed it to reduce costs. I loaned mine out after I'd finished, can't remember who to otherwise I'd happily send it out if you found an official HDD but didn't have the cable.
  3. Iirc the original 360 came with either 20,60 or 120gb which you could also buy as upgrades and you could do a one time copy if you had the data transfer kit. Not sure about the slims as I never had one.
  4. I assume the 360 version will run fully off the disc as they sold some without a HDD. Have a look at the requirements of the game.
  5. Nice jetpilot. Decided to book mine into the local specialized store. Hoping to make more use over winter, nothing like getting out first thing on a frosty morning and riding a mix of roads, trails and totally off road
  6. Mine has dropped connection a few times at a crucial point. Also in game party chat doesn't work, I've found starting a party chat from the dashboard then invite the party to the game does work but If you do it through the game everyone seems to be muted. Anyone else experienced this?
  7. Put another hour or so in tonight and it's starting to click. been playing lone gun mostly with just a few games with a colleague from work in a fire team.
  8. the bbc article suggests it's with immediate effect and sturgeon is front runner to replace him. Sounds fishy to me!! I agree On a serious note I didn't get involved in the other thread but read it with interest. I think Pete is right, westminster are on a final warning. If a more capable leader with a support team who actually had answers to the issues we would be looking at a new independent Scotland. I must say I really did enjoy reading most of gball's posts as he was informed and put his opinions and facts across brilliantly. Only the last couple of posts you could feel frustration. I think the result means the UK will never be the same and hopefully we all get more say in how our local regions are affected by policy.
  9. the bbc article suggests it's with immediate effect and sturgeon is front runner to replace him.
  10. From a slightly different perspective but have you spoken to any senior managers at your current employers? You never know they may agree that you're ready to move on up and ease you into the next stage with familiar environment. That said its a risk as it could also work against you. Good luck either way
  11. Very quiet 10 miles away too and really warm outside for the time of year...Storms are forecast for around 5 this morning though. Pete Yeah t'was a lovely evening here too I just didn't want to upset the OP No sign of a storm here still but thanks for the heads up, will take my jacket to work
  12. It's not here in chester
  13. Ok so a bit more googling etc etc. it seems it's a shimano 68mm octalink bottom bracket but I don't know the length. I assume any BB spline tool which states suitable for shimano will be suitable so I'll get one of those then remove so I can get the full spec. So my next question can I change just the BB for an upgraded one or do I need to replace the whole lot? Cheers
  14. I do think you need to find your own feet and understand where you're coming from. You need to vet theses sorts of places as much as they vet you. It looks ok but they haven't specified furnishings and it looks like it just going to be a matter of cramming as many lodger sin one house. You may not be happy with a co habitator but if the owner is happy with their cash it's your issue. I've also heard of scams where they show you around, take a deposit and you never see them again.
  15. Well I'm not non your situation and don't fully understand your circumstances. However after reading your other thread this maybe a blessing in disguise but £400 pm rent is pretty good whichever way you look at it. I don't know the area where you live but anywhere in the SE is going to be expensive, £500 a month here would get you a 1 bed apartment. Good luck whichever way your path takes you.
  16. Hi all, about time we had some updates in this thread however I only have a question for the gurus.... I have a clicking/clanking noise every half revolution of my crank, I suspected my pedals so backed them off and tightened them. The noise went and came back within 4 or 5 miles. I thought the bearings in the pedals were collapsing so put another set on. Still there, my next suspicion is the bottom bracket. I have a 2013 specialized hard rock sport 29". Any recommendations for where to source the spare or any upgrades? Googling doesn't turn up much... Well only 2 or 3 year old threads stateside. Thanks for listening and appreciate any advice
  17. That's weird, my names Andrew but everyone apart from my parents and siblings call me Andy. It feels strange when people call me Andy and also when my family call me Andrew I guess I'm the weird one
  18. They do but what I was trying to say is the way they write/expect the name to be displayed could be different as the OP had observed. I'd ask as I'm sure they would appreciate it
  19. Mine know why you get confused, I do too. I've been calling gone of my colleagues by his surname because our directory display name naming convention is surname, given name. However I do believe in Indian culture it's the reverse, for example they will always start an email with "Mr given name". It doesn't help that his surname is a traditional female given name here but he's been too polite to correct me until I asked They may come across as very formal in written conversation but they do have a wicked sense if humour When I asked him and explained he laughed but I make an effort to use his given name but it doesn't come naturally due to the display name. If in doubt just ask is a courteous manner explaining you weren't sure if there was a cultural difference. I'd sooner get it right.
  20. They do seem to be zone marking at times at others they seem to man mark and just flood you, that's when you need a fire team. I'm really enjoying it but only played a couple of hours
  21. @smd thanks but you have the wrong system
  22. Ahh ok, I guess it's based on the different classes to encourage people to play differently and fill the fire teams with one of each. Just a thought. Funnily I don't have many friends so probably won't be an issue
  23. Well they have listened to feedback from the beta maybe they will listen to that, try submitting it. I had a fire team going with just one other person last night and it was ok apart from our comms, I could hear them but they couldn't me. Think it's a config issue my side though
  24. I thought that too, I'm right handed but spotted it. Hopefully that will be an upgrade
