    WTF

Ah balls I typed in a response but my phone lost it. It's "btitain first" they are on the same level as BNP for me, twisting everything to suit their views. I won't click the link sorry.
  2. So here's a question to do with the new ios8 health app. How can you change the units of measurement? For example I use strava to record how many miles I cycle, it's set to miles but when I have synced with the health app is shows KM's. I'm on an iPhone 5 (6+ is on its way) in case it's a limitation there. Thanks
  3. The problem with these reports (which I don't see a source) they don't take into account the condition of the vehicle or spec. As far as I know the only requirements were it was registered so could've been SORN'ed for eons and been badly attacked by the metal mice.
  4. Oh and thanks for the clarification folks
  5. I know that feeling. I have problems convincing my best friend to join me ...... .... And he's imaginary
  6. Im 27 and need to start running that too as im as far as i can get without it really Feel free to join us mate I thought fire teams were limited to 3 players? I only ask as you said 3 or 4, I'm hoping it opens up bigger fire teams later in the game.... Mind you I'm struggling to get together a 3 person fire team with friends at the minute I don't like playing with strangers (fnar) as I'm not that good and don't like taking it too seriously
  7. Now level 18 and completed the story. That last battle was difficult especially on my own. Still enjoying the game even though I typocally only get an hour or so a night. Playing in a fire team with comms is the way to go, as SMD said you level up so quickly at the lower ranks. Well done on the legendary items SMD, think I'm a while off that though
  8. I can't really justify it to be honest. I hardly drive these days and when I do its to take the OH and/or the dog somewhere. I was only doing a couple of k a year in it so if I'm truly honest i got a good price at a point when they were starting to plummet in price combined with the relatively high cost of insurance etc for only a small number of miles. I had a look at a 370 not long after and felt cramped in headroom, that said it was a coupe so I'm sure that was the difference. That said I was reading and looking at Will's summer European trip last night and I started thinking I'd like to do something similar so I've not written one off yet (pardon the pun ).
  9. I haven't read all the replies, I can't sing and I haven't tried to learn...... But I do have a good story The guy who sits opposite me in the office is proud to be Welsh (even though he forgets his father was english ) anyway his local male voice choir got to sing at the millennium stadium before some of the Welsh rugby internationals so he joined them so he could get to say he'd been on the pitch for a Welsh rugby game He can't sing and had never done anything like it before. He truly loves it and although he hasn't got to sing for the senior squad games he has sung at the under 20's home games in last season six nations in colwyn bay. He would come in each day practising the away teams national anthem..... Badly He still hasn't been found out yet mind. Good luck! Edited as didn't make much sense
  10. Yeah same here, like a lamb to the slaughter thats how you see everyone here though Dave - new poster and you're rubbing your hands Had to read that twice.... Thought you said "new poser"
  11. I played a couple of rounds of crucible last night and just got battered. I too am a level 17 (jumped from 14 or 15 in just over an hour) Fire team is definitely the way to go Edited due to typo
  12. How do folks get away with this?!? If I were to book a day off to play games my OH would be wearing my balls for earrings Ahhh I see, you guys wear the trousers :scared:
  13. Console yourself with the fact I'm only 14. I think the fact I play alone means I'm making slow progress. I've been doing a lot of patrol missions at the minute though.
  14. I saw what I think was this one on Thursday, a51 Littleton about 8am heading into chester. I miss my roadster on days likes we've had the last week or so
  15. I truly did laugh at that one! I love hearing about people having good fortune which the lottery win was but I also love hearing about people grafting hard for what they want and achieving it
  16. My OH said to me this morning "Your phone will end up moob shaped" while they were talking about it on the radio. I always put my phone in my shirt pocket and found this very funny
  17. He's a lovely looking pup (I know he's 5) but he just looks like he's got that puppy mischievous look about him. Fingers crossed for the fella.
  18. Apologies I think I've misunderstood your question. Yes you do have to upgrade itunes to the latest version if you want to interact with their stores however it will run on older operating systems and doesn't force you to update iOS versions. It will prompt but not force. To be fair j really detested itunes the application, it was resource hungry, clunky and a PITA to use but it has got better, particularly from v9 onwards if IIRC. stevod and Ekona have hit the nail on the head, it's what platform best suits you and sometimes it's about what one doesn't annoy you the most. That said I wouldn't be putting down the sort of money a 6 costs just because it annoys me least. If go out and buy a Nokia 6210 for phone and text in that case
  19. It also doesn't restrict old phones/iOS versions from it connecting to the store direct. I've put an order with Apple for a 6 and a 6plus. 6 is due in just over a week and the plus 3 to 4 weeks.
  20. That's excellent news. I agree cutting your teeth in an environment you know is the perfect solution. You can gain the experience and move elsewhere when you have the people management skills you are after. Great to hear of folks moving their career in the direction THEY want. I'm in a similar position but its almost the reverse. I'm feel like I'm being encouraged to apply for a team leader role but for a function I did many years back. It will grow into a middle management position over the next year or so but I'm a hands on engineer and this is for an operations position where I know my troubleshooting is second to none but I don't enjoy it. the reason I've mentioned it is because I think there's many of us who are in similar positions and this thread has been useful to them Oh and good luck!
  21. It's not for aerodynamic reasons. It's if the come off and get a graze or anything. Sticky plasters and scabs come off shaved skin easier. Btw it's not for me either but they do ride close together and I'm guessing it just needs someone in the middle to get a puncture or not see a pothole for it to go pear shape
