I'm in London in 3 weeks time. I'm hoping I get to see the tower if it's still there. Rather humbling to think each and everyone one of those flowers is a British life. So many more poppies were given lest we forget. I mean the poppies not the tower.

I'm always moved by the sacrifices so many others have made for me to be able to enjoy my life. I was sat at work yesterday when one of the security guys came into the office pushing a wheelchair with a gentleman who had made such sacrifices handing out poppies. I thought it a great idea as we were able to chat with him rather than passing by and dropping a few coins in a bucket whilst in a rush when out and about. The security guys in our place are made up of mostly ex servicemen who do a lot of charity and volunteering work for the RBL, H4H etc. Lest we forget P.s on my phone and not sure how to get the poppy emblem

I've just licked my elbow I have a prosthetic tongue

I'm in on the alpha too. Shame about drive club as that would've been my justification for buying a ps4.

I did have an issue connecting to start with but actually quiting the game fully and relaunching worked as I think the servers were rejecting my connection as it hadn't uodated. As soon as I did this it downloaded the update and I didn't have any disconnects at all but as above I was mid strike and both members of my strike team dropped at the same time and left me in my own.
-
I'm not being kicked at all. That said I've just been on a strike and all of a sudden in on my own, others had dropped but I was able to carry on.
-
To be fair I only started playing around with sub classes last night and you can switch mid strike/patrol when you get a quiet minute. I'm lvl 21 and will be up for some strikes later in the week. I think you said you were on the Xbox one.

We had a similar issue last year but from a customers perspective. We wanted a new bathroom and as the OH father is a tradesman he gave us several names he had worked with in the past and was happy with the quality of their work. The guy we settled with quoted 2 weeks +materials with a fixed daily rate which was in line with the other quotes. We were supplying the big items, suite, shower, underfloor heating, tiles etc as well as sorting the actual electrical work as the OH's dad had that in hand. Also he would be given a shell of a room with just a toilet to remove for obvious reasons. Before he started we raised what could be an issue with him and he thought it wasn't that big a deal and would add an extra day at most. After a week we could see the quality of his work was superb but we had expected to be further on that he was. He said he may over run by a couple of days and explained there was a problem with the stack and the issue we had already identified as a potential issue. He took 22 working days in total and billed us for 18. As you can imagine over double the estimate was a bit excessive. We discussed it with him and agreed to pay the 18 days as the quality of work was fantastic but we weren't happy with his method of getting the work. I can't deny he did a fantastic job and yes some days he finished an hour or so earlier which was fine by us as that like the OP something's can't be rushed with things like plaster etc. I just wish he'd been upfront about it as I belivee he knew the way he worked it was going to be at least 3 weeks. I don't think the OP was being unreasonable at all and even though the customer feels he was finishing early what's to say you weren't out sourcing materials for the next day?! Edit: sorry he billed for 20 days but we negotiated 18 days.

Oh it seems I got confused it was Mr tattoo who got married in 94. Good luck on how long number 3 lasts I said number 3, I didn't edit from number 4 honest

Even though it doesn`t always workout and last forever, especially in my case, I think it represents far more than a piece of paper and can also be done on the cheap without costing a fortune - the divorces, on other hand, are a completely different matter ... You haven't met my Mrs, everything costs s fortune with her I did say my view is biased and congrats on your 20 years
-
Firstly congratulations on 41 years and may you have many more. I'm not married and don't intend to (the OH has other ideas though) as to me it doesn't mean a lot other than spending a fortune - not a small fortune but a real fortune on basically a piece of paper (in my opinion obviously) and feeding those relatives who have very little time for you at any other point in your life. I'm from a large family and was outcast by my fathers family when my mum and dad split up so my views are rather biased.

I wasn't confused between laser jammers and vans at all. I merely mentioned that I didn't understand how the laser was armed by detecting a speeding vehicle. I think what you're saying is it uses some kind of radar to get an approximate reading before verifying via the laser. That sounds perfectly plausible, thanks I've heard of waze and I know quite a few of the forum members use it too. It's still a relatively static database based on user input which I suppose can be useful on journeys you aren't familiar with. I still think the best preventative, cheapest and none ambiguous solution is not to speed in the first place. I Suspect we have all done it at some point but if you get caught you can't complain which I didnt
-
IF your only requirement is a digital speed display then why not get a smart phone holder and use an app to display GPS speed? I'm sure there's lots out there for all flavours of smart phone and it will be cheaper than the proposed option. IF however you really want it so you don't get caught exceeding the speed limit then the cheapest and fool proof way is to not speed. I don't agree with all these jammers/diffusers etc. you speed then you take the risk. As for the lasers only being active once it detects a vehicle speeding.... How does it detect a speeding vehicle to arm itself in the first place?? Genuine question as I suspect a lot of the information here is hearsay with some being factual and some being pub talk.

I think I'll take a shot in the dark and say 4........ Sorry I couldn't resist, both puns intended
-
GPS can be a bit hit or miss though. Very much "hit" in this case though.... Sorry couldn't resist. Glad no one is hurt but pushing on on unfamiliar roads is just not on. Even if he wasn't technically speeding he was distracted

Reg ended RED heading out of town on wrexham road at about 4.30pm. Looked a clean pre facelift, I didn't flash IT wave as I was walking the dog. In fact you did look over to watch my Labrador mooch in a load of leaves

Oh and I had a few games in the crucible. I think I was 2nd on my team one game in "clash" I think throwing a sticky grenade at someone which stuck and they ran back toward their team mates did it I was promptly killed as I was laughing so much

I have had to go back and farm for helium coils I've been collecting whenever I see anything like that. Made it to 21 last night by doing a daily strike. Think ice got months to go before I get to 28..... Level cap will probably be 150 by then
