I ended up buying FH2 today. Had a quick blast and it feels very good (like FM5) but got to a point where I need to let it finish downloading. Taking for ever as only using 1.5 mbs of my bandwidth. I PM'd stevo to see if he was sorted and he isn't. He's still got strict NAT and he gets the same problem when disconnected from Live. I think it needs a live connection all the time due to it's always on nature (FH I mean) but I don't know what else to suggest to him

That will be causing you an issue for online gaming even if it's not causing this one. Google it with your router model. There should be guides on how to make it open. Even moderate will show an improvement.

Sounds like you need to set up your port forwarding. Google the model of your router and Xbox live. It should tell you. You can check your NAT through Xbox setting, network IIRC. There should also be a tool to check the status. I'm not at my console right now so can't check. Again Google will have the detail. Good luck

Can you hear hard disk or blu Ray activity? One other thing I thought of is it doing an Xbox live check and if so are you connected with an open NAT? I'd expect that to throw up a network error though. Feel for you mate.

Thanks for the info buddy. I do tend to focus on the story missions and then mop up side missions so yeah it sounds like I'll wait. Tempted to buy forza horizon 2 for £38 from the store including the day one car pack but I feel ill just be buying it to have a new game.

ive reset the xbox to factory so im guessing that would have done that? I pondered that one but by removing power you will be purging anything in the cache. Worth a shot as your video does seem like its a cache type thing. The only other thing I could think of was a media error but it's well into the game so beyond the initial check.

I think I have said in the past your drivatar is superb The problem with forza is that if you don't play often you find your control of the cars diminishes and as I got side tracked by another game every time I go back to it I find the races really difficult as well as the cars much more twitchy than they should be..... Or it's I've had a few beers

I stopped playing forza because of Will's drivatar making me feel inadequate. Holmsey fodder. not really a sociable person though... Mainly because the OH thinks I'm sad for talking to strangers

I may go back to BF4 online for a while, GTA Online looks good but there's too many high ranked players who just want to spoil your fun. That said yesterday is done a store robbery and was trying to shake the police and headed for a shoutout which was happening near the pier on the beach.... Ended up with some guy with a teddy bear mask on my bonnet with cops chasing me down. All I could hear was him laughing. I just did t think of recording the clip

Was it a particular area of the map or has it sopped now? Just been in the online world and everyone had Christmas jumpers on but couldn't find snow. I could really enjoy the online but whenever I have a go it's just full of idiots who want to go on a rampage and as they are all of a much higher level I don't stand a chance is it's ty to get out of the area as quickly as possible

I never had the castle, but i remember building a copy of it from the parts i had. Was a pretty good replica. Actually i did that with most of their sets... i'd always make my own version of it if I didnt have the actual set, just from the pictures i had to hand. Ahh the memories. To me that's what Lego was all about, getting inspiration but letting your imagination run wild with it......blocks permitting of course

I was messing around in a snowy los santos on the box of x I probably won't get chance to see the snow as its one day only and we have a full schedule apparently. Told the OH I'm happy to stay at home and spend the day with the dog..... I'm not sure what I did wrong but it was like lighting a rocket

Yeah I thought they were it just got tedious when you would have to spend several hours looking for rare flowers or animals to get the necessary items. That said I was well into the game by this point and had my monies worth so I'm happy to spend some cash on FC4

I completed GTA V story and strangers & freaks missions last night. Still have a few of the drug drops (plane and car) missins for Trevor, parachute for F as well as UFO parts. On the look out for Far Cry 4 dropping in price as I think I'll pick that up next. FC3 got a bit tedious for me with all the crafting but i did really enjoy it up until the point where you had to collect quite rare stuff to continue.

I feel I can at last wish everyone a very merry Christmas. Stay safe and have a great time relaxing with family and friends, to those who don't celebrate Christmas then I hope you get to have some down time with family and friends which is what it's really about for me

I've been looking at these recently, I'm waiting to see a little more about the apple watch however I suspect it will require to be paired with an iPhone at all times rather than synced. I can't run due to a fused ankle and the gym bores me rigid so I try to get out and cycle quite a bit. I'd also like to swim more and I suspect the apple watch won't be water proof so will probably start looking at alternatives. I have a couple of friends who swear by Fitbit but I've not done any research as to which model if any is applicable to my requirements and usage. My main reason for posting is to say thanks and I'm reading all the advice too
