  1. I'd never played on PS3 as my optical drive failed before it was out. I can see if you played it on that platform it wouldn't be a good enough incentive to upgrade. I know I've barely scratched the surface of this game and if I didn't have an all day stag do today if be playing it
  2. I enjoyed AC Unity, much better than the media made out. Completed it a couple of weeks back
  3. Just a little. Only made it to the Capitol building museum so far
  4. Really enjoying the last of us. Fecking clickers though
  5. Agreed you guys and lady of course need to get some pictures and a bio on the pets thread. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/25215-the-350z-uk-pet-thread/page__st__920#entry1426927 Can't help with your question though, we have a Labrador who refused to go into a kennel we bought, we put it on an auction site and someone bought t for their pig
  6. @jud I agree with all your points, I said I'm a pessimist but paranoid is probably more appropriate It's horses for courses and as you say for some it's ideal for secondary or tertiary backups providing you know the risks associated
  7. "The cloud" can mean many things. As a consumer I'm just a little wary of trusting my backup to someone else for both privacy and recovery. I no longer have control over that data. I'm a bit of a pessimist and in some ways control freak when it comes to stuff like that
  8. Not mine, don't trust it......... I'm an infrastructure engineer (mainly server and storage) for a financial services company I hate giving someone else responsibility for my backups, if I've done it's either done right or I'm to blame The IT world is very quickly moving to cloud for everything, of course there are certain vertices where you can't, but the migration has begun. Oh I know and we have several including one I look after..... Doesn't mean I trust someone else with my data or the responsibility of backing it up

  10. You did mention the CRT earlier in the thread..... My bad. I think that's the best way to go, I'm quite envious and would love some pics of the setup. Next house will have to have a man cave so I can have a something similar A colleague collects Nintendo consoles (handheld too) and has every one of them in his home office but on display, don't think he plays them. Shame if he doesn't will have to ask.
  11. If you don't mind me asking but what type and size of TV are you using? I've wondered if they wouldn't look right on today's larger led/led panels using scart. I think if I was doing what you are if try and use a crt if I could. Look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions
  12. Loved the microprose games, also a big fan of gunship 2000. I also liked TAW (total air war) which I think was an ocean game. I still have my custom a1200 (modded to take a 200mb internal 3.5" hd)bat my mums, I spent a fortune on the hd i may pick it up next time I'm there.
  13. I must be rubbish then as I must have put in about 10 hours but I do believe I'm close to the end. I got it with a deal on the PS4 I mentioned earlier in the thread
  14. I think I'm close to finishing the order, very linear game but I've liked it none the less. I put the last of us in last night and played the opening sequence. I know that is going to be very atmospheric even after 10 minutes play. No wine for me Will
  15. Plod were everywhere on Wednesday, insurance and VED were two of the things but they were targeting criminals using the road network between the three main local police authorities of jersey side, Cheshire and North wales. They even had a big mobile electronic display driving around chester warning people. Oh and don't know the vehicle sorry
  16. He's turning his garage into an American drive in movie theatre with a beer fridge in reach when "parked"...... Sorry I couldn't resist, no help whatsoever OP.
  17. Destruction Derby was awesome! Along with Tenchu, loved that! I think this name is right 'Pandamonium' Was another awesome game, you could switch between a Female and a Male jester if I am thinking right, it was a fun side scroller. DD was dangerous especially as a quite inexperienced driver Loved that game and yeah I remember pandemonium too, was ok but not ground breaking. Some sort of harlequin of IIRC. So having played he order for an hour or so now, it's ok. Graphics are good but it's quite slow and I'be never really liked the timed button sequence things, square here hold triangle etc but I'm enjoying it. PS4 seems quite slick but not used the store other than download the destiny demo so I can compare against the Xbox one.
  18. I grew some and bought it anyway, I also booked a holiday.... No connection whatsoever Only really set the ps4 up so far but hoping to spend some time on it today.
  19. Quite a few years back I remember the Novell CNA of the year was called Randy Bender and he was all over the literature they would send out There's quite a few funny ones in the directory in work which I obviously can't say on a public forum.
  20. It's ok I've decided not to buy the package..... Nothing to do with the Mrs getting the huff when I mentioned it To be honest, I think that's a good price for the ps4 + 2 games regardless of their quality.
  21. Just reserved a ps4 with the order and the last of us remastered for £300 from Argos. Offer on until Monday. Select a ps4 and scroll down to the bottom and you will see the offers
  22. I'm still on a paper license too. Last time I renewed it, mid 70's I guess, it lasted until you reached 70 and when I moved here in 1978 there were no such things as photo licenses. Sadly, I'll have to renew it in 4 or so years time and although it says its free when you reach 70 it doesn't say anything about changing your paper license. Pete All new licenses issued are photo, if you move etc they will issue a photo license. I'm not sure if they also replace it if you have to send it off for any offences to to added though
  23. I completed the story of AC Unity last night, really enjoyed it. I have black flag to do now which I've had for a while but didn't "feel" it when I first got it so I fired it up again and starting to get it now. Will run through that then go back to unity for side missions etc. both can be got for next to nothing now.
  24. Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at "Heng Long" tanks then this week when I've some more time. If I can find a British tank that they make rather than a German model then I'll be happier with that. I actually had a Google the other day... Curse you Jeman and I couldn't find a chieftain which I'd love to have or a challenger II by Heng Long. Was on my phone mind Top work guys, I'm in awe.
