  1. I think mine has dementia as its started to forget wifi passwords and browsing history. Also when I 'close apps' restart and they are all back again. Also a 6+ Edit: I hope no one takes offence with the use of dementia, it was the closest in context I could use for Stu.
  2. Roscoe, great looking labs there. How do Roxy get along with Bo? We have a 3 year old female choc lab and we've been considering getting her a playmate, not necessarily another lab but whenever we have dogs come visit she just never leaves them alone even when both are exhausted.
  3. Wendy - I think decision made regardless of what a couple of days will do as you've bought all that's stuff and obviously had him in mind. Can't wait to see pictures of the guy when he finally moves into his forever home with you
  4. Yes I knew about explosive but I was trying to use stealth as per my post. There is a way to stop them turning the generators back on without destroying but I won't say so not to spoil others discovering it.
  5. I dunno, part of these games for me is the amount of different ways you can complete a task, I may think differently to others so like to do things my way the first time round. If I have a preconceived way of accomplishing something it annoys me more than something about the story which on most games I skip through as they can be boring. This was my conundrum and I agree. Sorry if this has spoiler any part I tried to make it as vague as possible. Now added spoiler tags thanks to Dan!
  6. I was hoping to get away with a more stealthy way of achieving it but at this point there isn't so KABOOM it was. Don't think that's a spoiler so didn't bother with the tags as I have no idea how to do that on the phone Edited hopefully with spoiler tags
  7. Glad you're enjoying it and I agree about aim assist and bullet time however I think "tagging" the enemy is part of the experience, I'd find it sooo hard with it disabled but that said I know what you're saying as there's nothing like using buildings etc for cover then randomly finding an enemy in a room you couldn't see into
  8. Cheers. I built the cabinet myself from scratch. It's got a PC with mainly console game roms in it, but some really nice front end software that means everything is controlled/selected via the arcade sticks, so you cant really tell its a PC. Looks great, well done A friend of mine did something similar years back but he bought an original cabinet and adapted for a pc as the internals were shot. He spent a fortune on the control sticks/buttons as well to try and keep it looking and feeling authentic.
  9. Starting to really get into MGS V, only on mission 3 or 4 but it's already got hold of me so much so I was dreaming about Fulton recoveries last night The last MGS I played was I think 3 and I didn't get along with it what so ever. This one I feel has remained true to the original but brought it bang up to date. I am struggling on how to destroy the equipment such as generators etc maybe I'm being too stealthy :shrugs:
  10. Love the gaming room, also noticed the arcade cabinet tucked away. On my phone so can't really tell but is it an original or has it got a PC running ROMs?
  11. I tend to steer clear of political threads but he seems to be a bit of an idealist as opposed to a realist. He has a utopia in mind but no idea of knowing how to get there. I've worked on projects with a PM that knows where we need to get to but has no idea of how to get there and makes up as they go along ignoring sound advice. It never ends well and that's how I see this guy. To be fair my knowledge of him is mainly from the media so I know it's skewed but people like this guy getting into power scare me.
  12. That's horrendous and why i say it should be reported to the police as well as his employer. As I said earlier I think some employers turn a blind eye to that sort of thing as long as the job is done. He could also work for himself...... Report to authorities every time. Next time it could be "you" he hits head on. Edited for terrible typing.
  13. SuperStu I agree about informing employers but I'd also inform the police. I actually sometimes think the employer may not give a toss, if he's making his deliveries etc on time what do they care. If the driver is an habitual offender and he's reported several times I'd like to think the police will do something. The incident Ricey refers to is awful, I think the person killed was actually the elderly male driver of the car according to the local paper. Car and ATS van on hard shoulder and a HGV wipes the van out and pushes it into the car and continues down the road from what I could see from pictures.
  14. Yes report it but according to most members it was probably a cyclists fault..... Sorry couldn't resist. Do report it. We had a few near misses with an Audi last year, same stretch of road. Tweeted the police the details.... Haven't seen the car since.
  15. I wouldn't look any further than the Thrustmaster TX. With the optional 3 pedal set and the manual shifter, it's awesome. Now I've just googled the wheel...... That can't go on my Christmas list..... That's a £20 bargain I found
  16. Oh dear me, just made the mistake of searching for the stand.... That maybe on my Christmas list
  17. WHAT WOT WAHT Dude, I'm ashamed to know you right now. F3 and FNV were astounding games! Honestly, don't worry about a demo, you just need to get F4 pre-ordered now. Trust me on this, I won't let you down. Hell, if you buy it and don't like it, I'll send you a box of choccy bars to make up for it. I know I know my colleague has said pretty much the same. Just got so much gaming going on right now. Just read you F6 post, sounds good but don't have room for a steering wheel setup mind you if we move a more substantial me space will have to be on the cards. The wheel is one of the reasons why I said I wouldn't get the most from it.
  18. I picked up MGSV for the PS4 and have only played through the intro. Looking forward to opening the game up. May pickup Forza 6 but feel like I won't get the most value out of that so will wait for it to drop in price. I've still got Rainbow 6 Siege on pre-order too. Never played a fallout game so hoping a demo of that comes out or I'll try and find a cheap of copy to give it a try as a colleague has been "selling" it to me Good gaming times ahead
  19. Our Lab has to inspect any bag or box that comes through the door and an empty box is just waiting to be played with. Simple things in life I may have missed it but what's the timescales for your build to be complete?
  20. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Oh and I love the "head of quality control" inspecting the latest delivery
  21. Downloaded but won't get chance to play until the weekend which is just enough time for Dan's, Suits and your Drivatars to become awesome and crazy at the same time Please tell me the demo lasts until after the weekend! Finally got chance to give it a blast. Not met Dan's drivatar yet but yours and suits are mental. Find grip where there shouldn't be any. Suits even shunted me off at one point
  22. Was just wondering this myself.
  23. It's a school day so you should be okay. Just weekends, school/public holidays and anytime from late November are a nightmare! That said I'd leave before school finishes as it can get snarled up at peak commute times.
  24. I can remember using Stanney Lane and Wolverham Road as a short cut when I worked at Shell in The 60's when the A5117 was the main road to Manchester ! Pete I know we're dragging this OT sorry OP but yeah we used to go to the little farm shop at the bottom of Stanney lane opposite the "village hall" as a kid, not because it was organic but because it was much cheaper than anywhere else.... Oh how times have changed
