I do like Clarkson but he can be a snob And as far as a badge is concerend whats wrong with Nissan ? i would have a Zed over a TT anyday. I drove one once and when i went to reach for my seat belt i nutted the roof !!! so claustrophobic. I am only 5'8" and i saw how easy Clarkson fitted in the Zed, looks roomy to me and he is about 6' I am prepered for the fuel pit too, i recently sold my wolf ST focus, it was 300bhp and 20mpg as best !!!!! popped and banged like a gud-un though lol I was never beat by any standard Evo or scooby, it was like sh1t of a shovel, only thing let it down was the obvious front wheel drive. The CodeRed software was awesome at getting the power down though. Worst thing about the car was it was savage ! to the point of being uncomfortable so she had to go Its gunna be new to me getting a rear wheel drive car again, last time i had one was my Escort mk 2 LOL beast !!!!! them were the days cant wait to see what the pulling power will be like, and i mean torque not skirt Just cant wait to get on now

Hi all, thanks for your time. I am looking to buy a Zed at the end of the year so as you can guess i am very excited. Since deciding what car i wanted next i have found myself constantly looking out for a Zed on the road just so i can say to our lass "theres one!!" lol but they are like rocking horse poop and yet there are plenty for sale !!! So here is my dilema, i know they are heavy on the old motion lotion and i even know Clarkson isnt keen but i put all this aside because i LOVE the way they look and sound (always had a soft spot of a V6). I have seen more Skylines then Zeds just lately so whats the crack ? Please can you tell me 'honestly' what the best thing is about your Zed and then tell me the worst. Its a buyers market out there so the time is right for me to get one, i just want to know why i dont see many on the road and yet i see loads for sale ! Thanks again peeps. Vale.

Hi all, thanks again for all those who welcomed me to your site the other day I have 2 questions really, 1. i read in the forums that there is a road tax issue pre 06 or post 06 whichever, can someone clear this up please. Is it not £400 regardless of car age for 12 months ? 2. i notice that there will be a meet up soon, is anyone welcome or just Zed owners ? Couple of facts for you to consider just incase mate. 1, you can only be finded within a 10 working day period, so make a note of the date, and if in 11 working days from now you get a fine in the post, it is void. I know this for a fact cos my dad got one quashed. 2, if its a moblie unit you can request the callibration certificate for that location/date and time, no certificate...no fine. Hope you got away with it mate. vale.

Hi all, i am new here but hope to make some friends and get some hands on advice. I have always had pretty quick cars, my last one 'i just sold' was a 07 Focus Wolf tuned to 300bhp, it was savage but fun, since then i bought a van because i was proper f@@@@d off with the price of petrol so i thought i would go derv and save for a while, but like this goverment always seems to want to screw the driver....guess what ? derv now costs more then petrol which really pisses me off because it costs less to produce !!!!! but thats another story lol Anyway, a mate at work rolled up in a Skyline the other day, albeit an old R33 but still, its a nice motor so i started thinking about getting another car and the 350Z has always turned my head So peeps, can you give me any advice on what to look for and what to expect, performance, mpg, tax etc. I am heavy footed and i am well old at 38 so ins isnt a shock. I have £12k to spend and if poss i love jap cars in white, my ST was blue and some brain box decided to paint the undercoat in white so it looked awfull when stone chipped !!! any advice is welcome, Kindest regards, Vale.
