Hi, sorry for going on but i am a bit or a worry wort As some of you are aware i just bought my first Zed and i am 99% in thinking my life is now complete lol Just one thing is niggling me.......its this noisy drive train/clutch release bearing thingy.. I am getting paranoid about it, i have also noticed a slight lumpyness in revs at idle. A while back i owned a ST220 mondeo, a 3ltr V6 and it ticked over like a rolex watch, smooooth so i thought i would get the same smooth ticking over with my Zed.....not, so here are a couple of questions and worse case senarios. I have a FNSH and my car is at 48k lets assume my engine needs a tweek, maybe new plugs or leads ! whats the "about" cost for this ? Could my clutch release bearing need changing ? cost ? Does my prop have a dry bearing ? cost ? Probably cant answer any of these i guess, or maybe i should stop crying about it and just book it in at Nissan and let them tell me eh ? "Sigh" i am a proper plank arent i i just want my Zed to be in as good a health as possible. I am going away in November to the Lake District with our lass and we have booked a cottage 9 miles off an "A" road down a track near Scafell and i just want to have faith in my new baby Ok you can all tell me to shut the **** up now and just drive the thing. Hi all, am just asking all sorts of questions so i can get my free sticker LMFAO !! long way to go and so many question Joking,.... my new Zed has the BirdView Sat-Nav and i was just wondering if there was a way of making it play DVD's. After all its just an lcd screen right ? so maybe a firmware upgrade or something ? I know nothing Just an idea, if the birdview cant do it, is there a DVD player out there that will fit in place of it if i were to take it out and sell it. Hi all, I just got myself a Zed and i am absolutley chuffed to bits with it, it is awesome lol I did mention in another thread that my only concern was it has what i think is a noisy drive train, When i am sat ticking over there is a definate dry/whuring noise that dissapears when i depress the clutch ! I have been told that zeds can be noisy around this part of the car but is there any reason why ? Car drives lovely and the clutch has loads of bite, sound to me like a dry release baring but i could be wrong. I checked some more posts but cant really pin point any answers.. if any !? I cant wait for the next meet, i missed the one at the weekend cos i had to work due to havin friday off to pick up my Zed.... I spent ALL day sunday cleaning, polishing, hoovering, glass wiping, tyre blacking, engine buffing and zorst gleaming hahahaha Zed got dusty at work today so i will have to do it all again tomorrow YEY

Hahahah I got a 54 plate GT in GM. satnav, bluetooth, cruise control etc, mint condition, still got a Jaguar waranty till March 2010, brand new rear tyres an so on lol I done 400miles in a day and a half just driving round cos i cant stop driving it lol Its the best car i have EVER owned !!

To be honest Martin, i was worried about the paint thing but i had to go to see it to check it for myself, Matthew didnt even notice it had paint work till i pointed it out, hence why he did me a better deal. Still, been from the car trade i can tell good and bad job and usually why.....in this case i trully belive someone had too much money and just decided to do a proper job for a change, unless removal of stone chips or coin damage is done on a more profesional scale from Jaguar maybe !? Either way i am gob smacked at the quality of the workmanship. I applaud the guy that sprayed it. Nice job mr who ever you are.
