  1. My list seems to grow longer every time I log onto here! So far:- 1) Replace the ashtray (which the garage nerds broke whilst in their care) 2) Replace the missing front tow eye cover 3) Sort my curbed wheels 4) Get new number plates (maybe CF effect numbers) 5) CF front bumper cover 6) Nurrish's custom Satnav 7) Maybe an RSW Carbon interior kit (window switch panel on my drivers side is badly scratched anyway) 8) CF rear strut brace cover. Getting longer by the day!
  2. They did one a little while ago on the Ferrari 599 being made......amazing seeing how it all went together, especially there paint shop!
  3. Ashtray and front toweye cover required please, or a link to an online retailer that may have them in stock. No Nissan dealer on the island! Thanks in advance.
  4. Dont use t-cut on it mate use a clay bar over the whole car, sure it will remove most spots, dont forget to wax after polish yep, a clay bar will sort it. I had exactly the same problem with my old boxster looked like tiny little rust dots, almost like sanded metal had been left on the surface to rust......no amount of polishing and cutting compound would remove it. A Megs clay bar kit sorted it out with a couple of nice layers of DoDo over the top....it never came back after that.

    Towing Eye Cover

If the OP hasn't sorted himself out yet, I'll have it! Don't happen to have an ashtray as well do ya?
  6. I didn't put anything on mine, although I avoided night driving. I did have the headlights on during the heavy rain without any complaints though. I got on and off without any problems (on standard suspension) - the same can't be said for the AM V8 that was in front of me though!
  7. Job done. Thanks to breay for the quick posting the sills arrived this afternoon. 20 minutes later - job done. There was no need to jack the car or remove the door sill, just popped the 4 rivets and removed the 6 bolts and hey presto, off the damaged one popped. Thanks for the tips and pointing me in the reight direction though fellas! Off to France for 8 days of on Thursday, so at least the car's back to pristine condition!

    Thanks

They've saved my skin this week too, after my little argument with a rock - top marks!!
  9. Thanks I'll probably have to jack it up. Do the door sills have to come off too?
  10. Nice one Mike, got in touch with breay and the sills are still available Hopefully she should be back to her gleaming self by the weekend. Just need to read up on how to change the sill now
  11. Does anyone know if OEM sills come pre-painted and if there's anywhere online I might be able to order one from?
  12. F**k knows. Presume there was a huge feckin rock poking out. Nah nothing like that......was trying to get to a floodlit castle to take some pics - hence having a camera handy to photograph the damage!
  13. Just literally done this half an hour or so ago! I was driving down a dirt track, quite tight and as I came round a bend heard and felt a sickening screach.....got out and it looked fine. Drove to a carpark that was lit and saw this!!! Luckily, if you can call it that, it looks like it's only on the plastic side skirt, but it's really feckin bad and I think it's going to be a new skirt needed as it'spushed in quite badly as well as the scratches....more than likely an insurance job - is it gonna be expensive??
  14. Does anyone know if it's possible to change the little electronic trip speedo from mph to kmh? I had a play but couldnt seem to do it.
  15. Hi guys I've had my 05 Z for about a month now and it's done just over 10k miles. I've noticed that it has the clicky drivers side CV joint issue and I'm going to give the garage a ring about it tommorrow as they gave me a 12 month warranty on it. The problem, is that I'm off to France on the 4th June for a week with the car and will probably be racking up quite a few miles. Is it safe enough to keep using and have the joint problem sorted when i get back? cheers
  16. Thanks guys. I'll try and get my sausage fingers in there at the weekend and see how it goes
  17. Hi all I'd like to swap the amber bulbs for some of those chrome ones that flash amber. Is there an easy way of changing the front headlight indicator bulbs, without having to dismantle the wheel arch liners?
  18. I saw a motor the other week where the owner had done just that - Carbon effect bonnet. Looked shyte mate. Might look barely passable on a Peugot 106, but not a Zed!
  19. 1/ Madmarkie 2/ Jerry 3/ Dominique 4/ Ebized - facelift 5/ martinmac 6/ Rory 7/ Stacey 8/ Johnny B 9/ Boomer816 10/ Chippy
  20. Does anyone know if this deal is still on the cards? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=20658
  21. Would be interested in this myself, but I'm Jersey so would need to fit it myself if possible. Would be great if there's some installation instructions available to review?
  22. Here you go - pics! First thing on the list is to change the aerial - seems like the Honda stubby is the one to get so just ordered one on fleabay. Apart from that, no real mods planned....might plumb for a pop charger when the current airfilter needs replacing, and might get a carbon windows switch panel cover (mine's fairly marked), otherwise the car is mint. Only 9,700 on the clock!
  23. Just to let you know that I'm still alive and yes, the car is still in one piece I'm planning on taking her out for photos tomorrow, so will post some over the weekend. I'm sure you all know what a standard 2005 blue one looks like though
  24. Off to pick up my Z in half an hour and the roads and wet and slippery here!! Really looking forward to it though
