  1. ISF sounds great, but looks like something my grandad would drive. £50K = GTR no contest! Pretty sure the 370z will gain in popularity as time goes by. Superb car, done 5,000 miles so far in a year, 3,000 of which driving around France, hasn't missed a beat
  2. Phew......thanks guys.
  3. Just back from a mammoth 1,000 mile 4 day drive in France in the Z. All went well as usual, but the Z seems to have sprung a leak! About 400 miles before the end of the trip I noticed a bit of a leak. It definately only seems to be water, not oil or coolant. I figured that with all the windascreen washing with all the bugs that were about, that it was just from that, but after leaving the car sat at the dock for 2 hours waiting for the boat, it still seems to be dripping. Got back home and have placed a jam jar under the leak to collect some of it, but as I said, definately seems like clean water. It's dripping off a structural member underneath the engine bay (roughly in line with the side repeater) on the passenger side. The car has run fine, no unusual temp increases or funny running. Anyone got any ideas?
  4. Here's 'alf a dozen of my own favourites (all shot in Jersey).
  5. Oh gawd......next purchase on the way.............still got my OEM's in
  6. Time to use USA tactics me thinks......
  7. Rubber bullets and tear gas
  8. Blimey, you didn't have that long mate! Good luck with the sale, tried the JEP / Jerrsey insight yet? As far as I know, it took Motormall well over 9 months to sell my mint Z, 24K on the clock, satnav, Pioneer DD HU, full set of brand new tyres and that was advertised on their forecourt for £14,995 and reckon it went for a bit less than that.
  9. Forget it, just realised there's no freaking keyed ignition barrel
  10. Off to France tomorrow and try as I might, I cant find the spare key. Is it possible to keep the fob and the key seperate and for either to still work without the other? Just trying to think up a backup plan in case the worst should happen.

    Track Day Cam

Here's my first quick and dirty one. Dont like the compression on this version though - nowhere near the full quality of the camera, so need to have a play with the upload settings and reload. Edit: Now uploaded the full 1080P version.
  12. I did mine with a trolley jack and axles stands.......and a raging hangover

    Track Day Cam

just bought myself a Contour 1080P HD cam for shooting some in car stuff whilst we're in France. Taken some vid already and the quality is excellent. just waiting on a couple of the attchments for it and some bigger storage cards. downside is the special mounts are fairly expensive plus it only charges by USB unless you pay extra for the ciggy adaptor, but the good news is that Amazon are currently selling them cheap - £150 off, so £200. camera looks a lot better than some of the hd cams out there like the go-pro too, so worth checking out if your in the market for one http://www.amazon.co.uk/VholdR-ContourHD-1080P-Helmet-Camera/dp/B002QGSYZ4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1308168219&sr=8-1
  14. Has anyone has casue to use it? I'm taking the 370 on a bit of a road trip at the end of next week. First leg is St Malo to Bourges, stay overnight, then the next day drive down to Sainte Maxime. Going to spend a day driving over to Monaco whilst we are there as well. The trip back is from St Maxime to Dijon, overnight stay, then onto Caen for a few days, then onto Carteret for a coulple, then back to St Malo - 1,700 miles! Did look at getting Europe breakdown cover, but saw the Nissan cover when I went through the car paperwork, so not sure whether to now bother?
