  1. PMSL thats the spirit I'm quite fond of my kidneys. Perhaps half my liver? Apparently it grows back anyway.
  2. Have you had much interest in the FTO? If it goes for the £10k asking price you'll be able to mod the zed to your heart's content!
  3. Ouch! Would be interesting to see more pics of the car.
  4. Think that's a member on here. Muddy perhaps?
  5. I just love the fact you could do something like that and then just drive it home!
  6. The first one apparently!
  7. Is it this one? http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/car-dashboard/id343821211?mt=8
  8. Any pics? Although I appreciate they might be quite hard to take!
  9. Just a bit! Was thinking more along the lines of mounting my (hopefully soon to arrive) AEM UEGO, along with boost and oil temp gauge in a din mounting bracket. Could possibly mount boost where the voltmeter currently sits though.
  10. I really like them. The colours work well together.
  11. No worries I'll get the graphs up eventually as well!
  12. Either going in the dash cubby a la Nurrish or potentially in a single din housing, as my stereo is also single din.
  13. Bit of an update! A lot drier in Germany over the past week, so got the car on to the autobahns to have a bit of a play. First thing that was noticeable (to do with the new hfcs and y rather than the tune) was the amount of noise in the cabin has certainly increased! I also now have a bit of an exhaust rattle at around 2k revs which I really need to sort the next time I get the chance. Anyway... I am happy to report that the removal of the speed restrictor works (161mph max according to my satnav, wasn't looking at the speedo for obvious reasons!) and the bump in torque is definitely noticeable in the mid-range at higher speed. In real terms (and not just when driving at stupid speeds) this means there's when you have to slow down for a car pulling out into the fast lane, there really is no need to change down when you subsequently need to 'press on'. Just put your foot down and you're away. The 161 is not top speed btw, there were still revs left...
  14. Maybe get it UpRev'd while you're there?
  15. Looking good! Although I think we may be past the 'introduction' stage by now!
  16. Looks like a very clean car. Congratulations!
  17. Have come across this: http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/productdetails/?objid=130 It's a dual oil temp / pressure gauge. Looks good, however my concern is whether its being digital will drive me mad with constantly changing values - for the pressure at least. Also, this won't provide the at-a-glance problem identification that an analogue gives, however it does have an alarm facility. My feeling is that I may go with a straightforward oil temp analogue gauge and just leave the stock pressure gauge, which I imagine is good enough to let me know if there's a real problem. Thoughts?
  18. I'm sure you'll be happy with it, it's a great bit of kit IMHO.
  19. Now I've read this I'll probably start noticing mine again!
  20. As excited as I am to see the car with the new rims, that's not the main reason I'm looking forward to seeing it finished at Abbey!
  21. I have the 113, essentially the same thing with a black surround. I rate it very highly - flawless integration with my ipod, built in bluetooth without having to buy an extra parrot module and no dramas getting it to work with my steering controls - didn't have to cut any wires, used those special clip/jumper things instead. I even use the front usb input now and again! GLWTS!
