Hi, Looking for a general quote on these two items if anyone can help?

Sounds like the k&n typhoon and plenum spacer will be the first two mods I guess then! Any ideas guys where I can source these for a good price? On a budget with holidays coming up!

Im still trying to get my head around how the plenum spacer would actually add bhp, my understanding is that it just holds the engine into place right?

Been looking at the price difference - Can find a typhoon for - £230ish and the pop charger is £130-150. Is there that much difference, swaying more toward the k&n from previous experience.

That looks quality, listened to a few pop chargers on youtube cant work out with sounds better a K&N typhoon or the pop charger. I have not heard them in person so I am unsure. It does seem the pop charger is more popular. (no pun intended)

Are those the standard likes on post 06 cars? I have a 56 plate and some photo's of my z somewhere I will post some, with the lights turned on aswell.

Any ideas how to get them clean, tried to many times but can never get them shiny! To hard to get under there!

Sorry bit confused, so you did remove the cover but you didnt need to because of the air filter? I am unaware of any air filter that requires the engine cover to be removed. Oh right does that go for the same if I have the cold air feed aswell instead of just the panel? Pop charger sounds like a good choice, need to hear it will have to go on youtube and see if I can see anything on there that I can listen to on a 350z.

So I will have to change the ECU or remap? Air filter looks great but I noticed the cover has been taken off, im guessing this was out of neccesity? Any sound clips of how it sounds with the K&N? I had a k&n induction kit on old car which I was impressed with.

I am now starting to consider actually modifying for performance, even though I told myself I wouldn't touch the engine this time round after having a modified vw polo gti before this I did vow to keep this car standard (apart from athestic looks) I am not considering starting with changing the air filter, now I have not had an extensive look under the bonnet but I was wondering I was to change the air filter would it mean taking over the engine cover and having to leave it off as I had to with my old car? I know I could install a cold air feed air filter but there is not space for me to mess around as im not the best! Are there any other mod's you would recommend? Even though i love the sound of the V6 im sure with a few mods it could improve. Any thoughts?

I ordered 2 18's from blackcircles once and then realised I couldn't fit them into the car to take it to be fitted!! Had the punctured wheel in boot and had to squeeze both tyres onto the passenger seat, had to put a blanket on the seat to stop them being scratched! They will fit but will be a nightmare to squeeze in, or once again maybe I was doing something wrong

I tried to T cut last night it did cover up the silver of the scratch but the scratch is still visible but definatly better than yesterday. I have a guy from Chips Away coming round after work to check it out for me, lets hope for the best! You must be much better with Tcut than me to get out the scratch maybe I weren't patient enough! Just didnt seem like it was going to cover up the deepness.

Wish the new 2009 would upgrade the sat nav so you can enter postcodes into it!!

Cool I will have to give them a call! Think they can sort out my chrome Z badges for the front and bonnet as they have started to get black dots and fade in colour! So much for £60 worth of badges! I try to wash the Z at least once a week as well!

Hi Guys, I was a member before but lost my account details and I closed my email address down to which I was registered with, but im back again. I have had my 350z for nearly 2 years now obviously its my pride and joy. However last saturday some low life decided to key my car on two different places on my driver side. Absolutely gutted as you can imagine. The scratches are not that deep however you can see the silver markings under the scratch (my car is black). The scratches are about 30cm in length each. Would you attempt to fix yourselfs? I don't know if T-cut could fully repair. I have tried to use Meguair swirl and scratch repair on other lesser scratches and it has done absoltutely nothing for the scratch. I have a feeling it may be a bodyshop job but at the moment money is quite tight as various things are going on. Is there someone in West Midlands someone would recommend for these sort of jobs? Thanks for any advice guys
