Car infront of me was cut up, he did an emergency brake, so did I could not brake in time car locked up and hit him from behind, hardly any damage to his car. Everyone is ok luckily

Is there a guide to fitting a washer pump for the front windscreen? Need to try and fit it now! Thanks

That's normal. The head lamp washer only operate once unless you switch engine off/on. You may also be able to reset / use the headlamp washer again from the switch to the lower right of the steering wheel near the petrol flap switch IIRC. Oh right ok - still not getting anything our of windscreen jets tho? I'll say it again. Have you checked the fuses? Checked the fuses couldn't see anything wrong with them

Gets stranger : The front headlight jets only work if : I turn my head lights on and flash the full beans on and off - the jets will then spray the headlights but it will only work once and I have to turn the engine off and on again to get them working. However neither the front or rear windscreen wipers are producing any water what so ever...

No can't hear the pump running or even trying? Any ideas?

Having a problem with my water jets for the wind screen wiper, I have topped it up to the top but struggle to get any water to come out on the windscreen, however the headlights seem to be getting water out of it. No matter how long I hold the lever forward to try and get some water out it doesn't give any or a little bit comes out then nothing else. Is this a common fault and something I can fix?

My car was parked outside my work which is on a quite a steep gradient. The car was parked there for over 1 hour before it decided that it did not want to be parked there no longer so it decided to roll down the car park, cross a busy roundabout, mount the curb and smash into a ford escort.... Not that much damage done to mine just scratches but the fords front bumper is destroyed. Worrying thing is I had a service with Nissan 2/3 weeks ago and the same garage fitted a new handbrake cable about 1.5 years ago! Am I in my right to make them pay for both car damages? Taking the car to them tomorrow to inspect

Won't it affect my car if I'm using semi synthetic to switch to fully? What do Nissan use when servicing?

My z is overdue a service which is booked for this Wednesday. I noticed the oil pressure is quite low and the engine is making a sort of rattling noise. I'm thinking of topping up he oil until the service. Which oil type do you guys use in your z's. Im using semi synthetic so will stick to that

Is it me or are the state of the roads getting absolutely dire - I cant think of a road that has not got pot holes and bump and uneven tarmac. I live in Birmingham area and literally I can't enjoy driving around as im bouncing around all over the place. Is it the same everywhere else or is it because the ride quality on the Z is poor?

Just been to the tyre place - the nail is in the 'shoulder' of the tyre and so he did not want to make the repair! He said if the tyre went flat he would be personally liable. The tyre is only 3 months old! Cant believe it Another expense before holiday!

Wouldn't bother with the standard sat nav mate - awful! Sends you the long way round EVERYWHERE and also does not accept postcodes so you need to know the road name - and in my experience it never has the right number when selecting the house number... always out of range!

Got a bloody nail stuck into my rear tyre! The tyre is only 3 months old! Dunno whether to yank out the nail- its wedged in pretty deep but cant tell how long it is. The tyre still feels rock solid! What would you do pull out the nail or leave it in??

Well took it to garage today and they cut the section of my pipe out and welded another piece onto the pipe. not sure if that was a great idea.. but I will roll with it for now. Decided I will be getting a scorpion system after holiday! Looking around £350 for whole system?
