  1. Thanks Will for info. Tyres are OEM and yes aware of the cost with them, it cost me a small packet to put supersports all round on the current car, I am guessing it will only be more shocking when that time arrives on the bigger rim'd Zed.I wll have a bit more of a search on the hood catching issue. Should be pretty is to spot as it will leave drag marks over time on the window leading edge and on the roof canvas. Thanks for the heads up. Will also have a good look at the bonnet shuts to make sure it wasnt built on a late friday afternoon....
  2. I have to agree now I have seen one in the flesh. Got two viewings on different 2 soft tops this weekend Lets see if the garage can play ball on part ex for my 313... Any tips what should I look out for on them, other than the usual gearbox issues and chipping on the front bumper which seems to plauge all Zed models?
  3. Thanks for the tip & detailed explanation. Will have to wait and see what the outcome is! Not a big deal as I can pick a set up next time I am out in New Jersey along with a decent exhaust!
  4. ohh I like that, probably will have to dig a fair bit deeper to get a later spec one like that. So that colour wasn't available pre 60 plate or just not popular choice?
  5. I have a set of Eibach spacers in my garage which were meant to go on the 313, don't suppose they also fit 370z running normal 19in rims? The fronts are 20mm and the rears are 25mm.
  6. Looking at moving to a 370z, any one know if Black rose type colour is available for the tin top only ever seen it on the drop tops?
  7. I am assuming your current seats are the vented type if coming from the drop top version?
  8. Head lining to suit 313HR. Needs to be mint. Can collect from wide area in South or possible arrange courier to collect. Pref is collection so I can take a look at it. Any also anyone know of some +06 Burnt orange seats going for same age car? Really miss them from my old Zed, they lifted the interior so much. Again would need to be in good order or similar to mine for exchange (from a car which has only done 27k, so in great order). Black ones are low maintenance but a bit bland.PM me if interested.
  9. Case halves look like they are printed on a SLS machine. Not great for build resolution or ultimate strength over time. They also become brittle with sunlight. I only use this type of print process for basic concepts prototypes certainly not thin walled sections parts either. Personally I would steer well clear of this.
  10. Had a set of these fit on all corners to replace the tired RE50A's. Done a few miles on them now and they have come alive, wow what a great tyre! Not cheap but certainly the best money I have spent on the Zed when combo'd with a geometry align. A good improvement in terms of on the limit grip both in the wet and dry. Tyre roar is slightly less too over the RE50A's. Bonus. Finally got some proper steering feel back again. Only negative comments are that they are rounded at edges so look a bit smaller in width and seems to be less tread depth than RE50A's when new. Neither of these bother me though as 313 is a weekend toy. Lets see how long they last now.
  11. Thanks, found it Courtesy Nissan site. Good site that! Bookmarked that one. For reference it is p/n : 85284-CD000
  12. Dont suppose you got the part number on invoice?
  13. Does any one happen to know the Nissan part number for the stud / clip fastener (clip A) in the images below? Save me a visit to the dealer? Are they also handed? Thanks in advance. Shot at 2012-06-13 URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/854/step2xh.jpg/][/url]
  14. Pretty much a dead cert on the PSS's. Going to have full laser alignment too, hopefully this will prolong tyre life a bit and check the alignment currently on the car. How about the price I have been quoted, anyone recommend any other good tyre outlets in Berks / Bucks area? Ordered some Eibach spacers too in a moment of weakness, since I have got the car to a near perfect mechanical and bodywork state.
  15. Which had less road noise? Looking to change some very tired RE50A's all round which have been fine grip / wear wise. Its just the tyre roar on the motorways is terrible. Oh the Zed is on 18inch rays alloys. Also is £920 all inc fitting, balancing, about going rate for 4 fitted?
  16. Still after one, failed on one I had my eye on...A zed which had a disagreement with a lamp post..
  17. Tried him a while back and didn't have one but shall try again.
  18. As title, cash waiting needs to be in very good condition.
  19. Thanks for the parts and good price to go with it. I will be adding that route to my Sunday morning drive list.
  20. Any plans to do the rear fog clear out? I am planning this tweak next, should look nice on black paint. Saw your Zed at weekend coming into town from Dachet and the Zed looked pretty clean to me!
  21. At least once a month I make a point of doing this. Good way of keeping the love I found! Get up at 5-6am ish on a Sunday morning (trust me its worth it!!) and go for a drive round a planned route. Don the thin soled trainers and let rip for a hour or two.
  22. Myself and a number of mates have used these chaps in Slough, off bath road. http://www.the-autowerks.com/WheelRefurbishment.html They have refurbished split and non split rims on number of my friends porkers and my old 350z with great results. They have a secure warehouse where the cars are kept if left overnight. Finish and quality far supper to mobile repairers. About £55inc vat a wheel. Oh and the colour match was spot on too. I considered BJV to but didn't work out best route based on my location (Windsor).
  23. Hi Jez, Is the part in the 4 th image in below link available. In good order? If so how much would you want for it, Mine got badly marked scrapped. I can collect. http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/rear_speakers/
  24. I am similar height to you and have no bother in both early and late 350 coupes. Base or GT spec. My mate reckons his non electric seats go further back too. Personally couldn't tell the difference. Its the drop tops which aren't so great for tall people. Not as bad as the S2000 but not far off. Oh and watch your head stepping out. Enjoy.
  25. I was passing through st giles in a black 350z last night at around 7.15ish It has had few tweaks to make sound better. How bad are the roads up that way!!! Talk about pot hole dodging!
