yeah i like the car just could do with some money, idk how much replacement dials are but someone on here was going to sell me a pair for £100 but prob alot more if new from nissan etc, ringing the garage again in the morning, see if we can sort things out. Its like always once youve done a deal and theyve sold a car there not interested. How much should a 04 import be then????

prices vary from place to place, its a good exhaust for the price, the japspeed k2 is also quite good and similary priced, choice comes down to preference

am in the process of puttin my private plate from my old car to the z so all forms are at dvla, sure he was called amid sohil or sumut, dealer should still have his details

just googled and found ads they aint removed yet, 1 from desperate seller and 1 from vcar. printed off as evidence. Both ads dont have on it anywhere its an import, he knew its an import why not advertise as a fairlady z as thats what there called, least i have some evidence now though

OK, so who that dont recently bought a 350z from redlinespecialistcars.co.uk advertised as a uk gt, but thats actually a jdm with uk bumpers etc Im annoyed. Phoned the garage, the lad that sold me the car didnt even know it was an import himself. Talked to his manager and he said, his manager knew it was an import thats why it was priced cheaper, and it supposidly said on the redline website it was an import my arse it said (thanks for not mentioning it to me till i realised after ive bought the car u ****) it wasnt exactly cheap either. said they aint guna do anything except they can change the klm gauge dials to uk ones for free, WOOPIE DOO, give me a nismo exhaust and i might feel better. Phoned trading standards and they said to write a letter to my finance company sayin item wasnt as advertised under sell of goods act 1980 sumut. dont get me wrong i love the car but its annoying,big time. Lol everyon on here should email them sayin theyve done me over, might get the message to do the right thing then Just looked at dealer website- ad has been removed, what a coincedence coveing there tracks of false advertisement, it'll be my word against theres now

ta very much, i know the klm/ dte thing gets on my tits, but if i take it back to the garage they said they will swap the centre gauges for uk ones for free

well having found out that my new z looks like an uk model but is actually a import im still fumin, ut the question is to do with the speedo. its a jdm and now i can that there is a lil black sticker covering the k bit so it just says m/p is my speedo accurate, so when im doing 70 on the motorway am i actually doing 70mph

I noticed t didnt hav cruise control, they just said it was a coputer error coz they get info of the system, the young lad that sold it said it was uk. I wud never have paid 11.5k if i knew it was an import. Love the car dont get me wrong, its just a shock, seen as i bought it and found out its sumut else. I hav a nice long list of what the car dont have now. only done 60 miles in it. Well it seemed and looked uk to me, being mph speedo, 6spd manuel, insurance comes up as 350z etc came up straight away when i compared the meerkat

MY speedo aint like yours Ian, has mph but no km/h underneath, and yes it doesnt have the little lip spoiler. I wasnt bothered as i knew i was puttin the nismo kit on it soon never knew it was an import. it looks like a uk though. Im just not as knowledgable as some of you. I am now though.

The speedo is in mph though, no km/h anywhere on it. The garage hpi checked it or else they wouldnt sell it. should i ring the garage in morning and complain, what you guys think

not sure if it has headlight washer jets, u can see the car on redlinespecialistcars.co.uk, thats where i bought it from. writing on all the coolant caps are english and the stickers are jap with english underneath

if u mean on the steering wheel to turn the indicators on as if i was signaling, the indicators are on the right hand side and the wipers are on the left. well ive only had he car 3 days. garage sold me it as a uk car 2004 reg. paid 11.5k for it. one way to see is if it dnt dont go past 115mph then ill know for sure

My oil gauge goes up in 0,4,8 whats goin on lol its got a normal uk bumper and plate on it, and when i insured it, it came up as 350z gt coupe and not fairlady z. im confused now bigtime

Ive got a 2004 coupe with he gt pack, its a uk model. Obviously the speedos in mph but whys all the info thats displayed in the little cluster next to the oil etc displayed in kilometers, is this right or it ment to be in mph as well. good idea, ill call nissan head quaters tell them the vin num then they can tell me for sure what it is, i thought jdm's dnt go past 115mph. goes past that by a good 30mph, anyone know where to look to see if its got a speed delimiter on it

seems about the right price. Been looking at changing mine, deffinatly cheaper than £1200 for a nismo. Not sure how good the scorpion is though. But for £300 you cant really complain

Just looked in the top right storage compartment behind the seat and there are these 2 wires. Look like the ones that you connect an ipod too, tryed but they dont fit. Theres a dead short one then a long one. If anyone could tell me what there for it would be most pleased

hi all my names dan and ive finally got roung to gettin a z, im 22 with 3yrs ncb, full clean liscence, just went to do my insurance and when i saw the prices i nearly had a HEART ATTACK, prices were like £2600, thought sumut was up, so i re- did it and it went back down to planet earth, £1500 cheapest so far with admiral fully- comp so now i am pleased, but il try sky insurance tomoro, curious too know what else do ppl pay are payin, kind regards

ive been lookin for a z for agess because i want a white one and cant find one, but i dont know if i shud wait a while as the 370z comes out next month, will the price of the 350z drop much when it arrives, i presume it will but rougly how much cud i save by waiting
