Thanks for the fast reply! It probably doesn't help that I'm coming from a 130bhp Turbo Diesel! But the clunking does worry me a lot. I assumed it was normal being a high performance car, now not so sure. Just been out to mine. The clunking noise is it when you push the clutch in and then release it that you get the noise when stationary if so that the fly wheel which is also common and nothing to worry about.

I'm no expert but 1st to 2nd gear change is a common thing with the zed and you'll get use to that sometimes changing the gear box oil and adding moly slip helps that. As for the clunking noise I'm not sure , someone will be along with more knowledge of that

so what happens when both devices are switched on ie the sky box stays on as it might be recording something I'd imagine that you'd only have the PS3 turned on when actually using it and the sky box on permanently. If you was recording something on sky then turned the PS3 on the device would then pick that up and switch over. It wouldn't effect the sky box recording.

I bought one from Argos a few years ago which automatically selected which device was on, which I found to be good as you didn't have to fiddle behind the TV every time you needed to change it. Yes all exhausts for the 350z DE and HR are the same fitment, only the cats are different on the HR.

I had a failed bush on my passenger side arm which was obvious to see and also drivers side drop link which was causing the rattling noise for me over rough surfaces. I'd probably start with them maybe as not as dear as the arms. There's some genuine ones on the bay at half the price at the moment. I was gonna say I've got my old rear discs and pads which would do for six months , but for £140 for new ones is not worth the hassle of changing them twice. that's a great price.

As Alex says and Also you'll need to get your alignment checked after replacing the arm.

Yes you'll need to remove the wheels to check the rear pad. Even if the front pad looks ok the rear one tends to wear out before the front.

Yep, happy for AA / RAC / Forum member inspection. Would it have been you in a black 350 I saw on Barrow Island / Walney roundabout a few weeks ago? Not many Zeds round here. There's a black one always parked up in Ulverston and an ginger one around Barrow driven by a guy who drives everywhere like he stole it. If it was the end of June id say there was about 30 Zeds around, as it was the LakeZ weekend ! GLWTS
