  1. Ok Yes thats the problem although i would prefer to get rid of the corrosion rather that shave bits off the pads tbh May have to get them refurbed then if that's the case. Think there held in with some Allen head screws from memory. I tried to remove mine to clean the corrosion off but they were stuck solid so resorted to the grinder.
  2. Do you mean the two plates which sit at each end of the pads ? Corrosion behind these usually pushes the plates forward causing the pads to be a tight fit. Usual trick to fix this is to grind the metal off the end of the pads a bit. Though not too much so they are loose.
  3. Ok found it, it's a boot tray. http://www.afsi.eu/sites/default/files/cv/admin/Nissan_350Z.pdf Here's one on eBay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-BOOT-TRAY-H4906-CD000-/252059024136 Bargain for someone.
  4. I have one of these, was in the car when I bought it. I seem to remember reading something about sound deadening. Like you say it's genuine and a well made bit of kit with a nice metal Z badge on it. Well worth the asking price I'd say.
  5. +1 with that. Don't get it from the U.S. As it won't fit, as it's the wrong hand side.
  6. The one part in the last three pics is the W brace and looking at your pics that will definitely need replacing id say as it looks totally shot at the one end.
  7. Yep don't go too far mate I thought it looked bang on and loved the colour and the hydro dipping, even the other half said she liked it and she rarely comments.

  15. Cheers again Gaz for organising the weekend for us and all others that helped and made us feel so welcome. Myself and Louise had a great time, all be it a little cramped in the little two man tent ! Haha ( must get a bigger one for next time ) Thanks again Mark
  16. Yes that would be a very obvious mod. I should imagine it was fitted by itself. Maybe the previous owner took the car on track a bit. As for fans I'd check that out as the should work.
  17. Helps to cool the oil. Usual mod for supercharged/turbocharged zeds
  18. Bushes are about £160 plus a couple of hours labour and alignment cost me roughly £300 from memory.
  19. Pipes to an oil cooler. Which have been added by a previous owner. Do the pipes go to a small radiator at the front.
  20. I can't get the video clip to play on my iPad but this made me chuckle OP it sounds like you need to get it to a mechanic as soon as. +1 Ah those were the day's!
