  1. how did you get your covers so black? Or is it just the photo? Looks good! I've always kept them quite clean and the last couple of times I've used this. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/interior-cleaning-vacuums/meguiars-ultimate-protectant-dash-trim-restorer-355ml
  2. Cheers man, simple yet effective I think.
  3. Cheers mate, also got a little something else on the way from Tarmac for a bit more redness that I'm hoping to get fitted for japfest.
  4. Finally after the long winter and now the evenings after work being lighter it's given me chance to finally do a few more bits to the engine bay. I removed the plenum to fit a red anodised wasso spacer also fitted a new plenum gasket while that was off too and cleaned out the lower collector as there was a small amount of pooling oil. Then to the best of my ability sprayed the plenum and throttle body gloss black and refitted using what was left of the stainless bolts and red anodised washers that I'd bought from Paddy's group buy last year. Also fitted a mishimoto compact baffled oil catch can too, to prevent any further pooling of oil.
  5. Guessing it's G's as it's the only one in the country. Take a look. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/106934-introducing-my-new-zed-fairlady-z-version-nismo-380rs/
  6. Excellent! Basically your just paying for the tyres.
  7. Genuine nismo induction kit ok then haha ? This was on the car when I bought it and I'm yet to see another one on a DE zed.
  8. Well like it's been said before nismo is as much about styling as performance and I've never said or pretended it's a nismo version they were on the car and wheels when I bought it 9 years ago when it was factory fresh and I'm guessing as the previous owner would of spent around 6K plus on the genuine kit and the wheels so thought why not. [quote name=davey_83' timestamp='1460530949' post='1610155] Nice car mate, is this a Nismo 350z? 'errrr no, but its got the bodykit and wheels' Good mate of mine has a Seat Leon reference 2.0 TDi 140, with the dealer fit option aero/btcc kit and sport wheels. He can’t front put a Cupra K1 badge on the tailgate as its not a K1 – same thing.
  9. Oh dear ! So it's been aligned with the wheels on the wrong way for a guess so the alignment/geo will now be out again I guess if you've swapped them back around.
  10. Invidia Gemini all day long for that budget.
  11. Here's mine after a spring clean and a few more bling bits.
  12. No worries, I didn't dare touch the throttle body so I left that well alone ! If you do take it off the plenum the four bolts that secure it to the plenum are 8.5 Nm
  13. Hi Matt I've just had my plenum off as I've just fitted a wasso spacer and blinged the plenum at bit, there's a little difference but think that will go once the ECU has learnt of the change, really need to get the up Rev for full Benifits I believe. The tourqe settings for the plenum bolts are 12.7 Nm from memory but I've been to sleep a couple of times since I did it ! Haha and there's a certain order of which bolts you tighten as well. Might be an idea to take the lower collector plate off as well as there might be some pooling of oil in there from the pcv system.
  14. I've seen a few fujitsubus pop up used in the classifieds on here and they've always been relatively cheap. Not been on here for a while though. I appreciate they are expensive new. A new tanabe would be my preferred option but a new roof makes more sense. I had a small repair done in the spot where they always fail last year. It's virtually impossible to see but I get a "whistling" noise when I'm doing over 80ish which is annoying. I'll give you a shout if I decide to get a new one mate. Just fit a new loud exhaust then you won't hear the whistling ! Haha
  15. On my old japspeed k2 the sleeve inside the tips would rattle/vibrate until the exhaust warmed up, so I put a couple of self tapers in to cure it.
  16. I've just fitted my red spacer yesterday which I'd purchased last year and it's superb thanks.

  18. As stu has said get it to H Dev. It's a common problem for the banana arm bushes to fail , they can be replaced without replacing the whole arm providing the ball joint at the other end of the arm is ok. That won't be the reason the rear is creaking though. Oh and please don't just replace one rear tyre , replace in pairs. Why on earth Nissan would suggest that is beyond me and if your on a budget get a good mid range brand, definitely not event. They've also quoted you for 225/45/18 which is the front tyre size, providing your running standard wheels.
  19. I'd go with OEM myself though I may be biased ! Had mine refurbed last year and kept the zed tucked up over winter, hoping to keep them as fresh as I can. Also get treated with lots of high temp wax.
  20. Remember you saying you wished you charged a 370Z nismo, here's your chance mate.
  21. I spent a day last year just polishing the centre caps of my LMGT4's so I'd dread to think how long this will take mate !
