i cant believe theres not a way ( without buying a different ecu ) that adding a full decated system and manifold for example will not be able to produce any gains in the slightest, when any other car iv had it does...without ecu upgrades...and ecu adapts to it... i had a tanabe full decat on my ek9, and that was loud, plus motorway an ek9 sits at 4krpm at 80. ek9s have no sound deadening though, and a thin shell...id have thought the 350's chubby bodywork and solid interior and deadening would make it a bit better...

comon folks.... 350z mini meet thursday night, aberdeen...perhaps on the long long road on the beach front, or i dunno? whatever

so if i want power aswell...what do i have to do? or get? or do i need a different exhaust altogether?

what kind of power gains are to be expected from this? im very interested... and whats this about ecu resetting? i never had to do any of that on my ek9, and that was a full decat from front to back... could someone clear this up please if i bought this what else would i need to buy? a sport cat? or decat pipe? and the manifolds? anything else? and what would it be like bungs out on the motorway at 70/80 in 6th...i do motorway miles. i just hate the looks of exhausts with bungs in, they look @*!#!

what town are you talking about? i mainy zip about dunfermline at weekends, occasionally venture through to kirkcaldy. the clutch is fixed, huuuuuuge thanks to alex. upgraded fly too. there is a slight grinding rattle noise from it which is similar to my rx7 now which was weird to get used to, but im told its all perfectly normal for the fly/clutch combo to mate together. its nowhere near as loud as my rx though...that produces a loud whine too! so its all good love the car, absolutely love it! and yeah, id defo be up for getting together with some folks from aberdeen one night if people are up for it. one thing im after now, is a special lead im told? for putting in my dvd flip out headunit. my car has the upgraded bose system ( which i think is awesome! ) but i want to change the front bit...im told with the upgraded pack i need a spcial lead to fit the headunit? anyone had experience with this? something to do with power reducing i think i was told, so i dont blow the system... oh, and spacers....

alex is currently doing my clutch and fly. 33k i wasnt happy with it, and also believe clutches should last longer, but the owner before me was from london, no doubt been stop start stop start, balancing all the time

thats all very well though mate, but you stopped around the speed limit...if you kept going ( on the private section of te road ofcourse ) you would have comfortably reeled it in...scoobys aint fast

what are these? is this a glorified gimic like them ebay electric supercharger kits and turbo whistle for your exhaust and so forth... what ever happened to conventional names like straight forward induction kits or air filter kits what are these pop charger things? i see them mentioned in some youtube videos too cheers
