i ll agree with the statement of its down to the colour and kit fitted.Mine also gets lots of attention and i ve always said its because of these things.
i ve had people taking pics of the car and been stopped and asked question as well ref what is it.lol
i am sorry to admit but i love it.
The discs are fine though, will the apex brakes fit in the brembo brakes...
Im after something which is good quality, long lasting, doesnt release too much brake dust, and good stopping power I guess....
yes...
think i ve spoken to you before on this.
i am currently running with APEX front discs and pads and cant complain.i ve even use it on track with no down sides.
+ they are a fraction of the cost
2011 is here and i wanted a new look for the zed.
well so far the front bumper has been replaced with a nismo copy v2.
next is the wheels and with everyone going for black i plan to go with silver and polished.looking to go something like this
not the best photoshop, but you get the idea.
your thoughts please.
i am not dissing the old fella in any way....to be total honest i felt sorry for him and was pleased that he agreed to foot the bill for the repair.
at the end of the day we are all getting older and accidents happen.
after what seem a good morning delivering tyres at work i return to the depot to find my manager looking for me.
thought to myself...opps what have i done...then to be greated with its ok Bob i take care of it...
the plot thicken and after what seemed an age he returned to tell me someone had hit my Z.
on inspection i found this.
luckIly my manager had the good sence to keep me at bay whilst he sorted it....seems a very apologetic elderly man had reversed in to my Z.
after speaking to the the gent and a quick visit to my bodyshop he has agreed to pay for the repairs.
HOW LUCKY WAS THAT.......Then to top it off the z passed its mot
just got to wait for the bodyshop to do the repairs.
i ve recently purchase a key fob from ebay and a blade which i ve now had cut,to be told that it will not be a case of just programming in.my local nissan dealer has informed me that they will need to reprogram the fob and key to the car after obtaining the necessary info from the immobliliser unit fitted above the ignition barrel.
looks like they need to plug in with there pc hardware to re boot/re code the system.
will keep you up to speed as and when this works.
both myself and the dealer have already attemped the normal route of programming to no avail
as i deliver to the dealer and friends with the GTR tech, i can only hope there will be no charge
