I sold both my ipad2 and ipad3 at the same time on eBay, was hoping if one sold I would keep the other but both sold while I was playing golf one day so was left with nothing Decided to try Android instead and managed to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 the day it went on sale and I am quite impressed with it in comparison to the iPad, the iPad 3 won't be beaten for screen but just being able to go onto a website and play a video without worrying if it has been converted to HTML5 or not is a godsend. But I was reading that Android are phasing out Flash support as well.... Most of my use of a tablet is for browsing the web, so I have hardly used any Android apps. So the fact the appstore is far superior to the Play store means little to myself. One small but very significant change is going onto Youtube and searching for latest music and seeing the official music video at top of search results which you won't get with the iPad. You must use Vevo on the iPad and you don't get every music video on there either.

But you would think if everyone has the right to have firearms that other people in the theatre would be armed and be able to fight back rather than being shot as they flee. Although odds on that most people thought it was a publicity stunt to coincide with the film....absolutely sick.

I just changed my insurance. I had a multi car policy with Admiral for my 370z and a 9 year old Clio. Was paying 112 per month. I bought the missus a new Nissan Juke 1.6 Accenta Premium Pack (she had to have the reversing camera like me etc...) and the insurance was going to jump up. So she organised insurance thru Shiela's Wheels for under 400. I told Admiral to take Clio off policy and my insurance premier was only going down by 3 quid per month!!!! So I went to esure and got fully comp, protected no claims for 540, that's with 1 no fault claim when the sheet metal came thru my windscreen off a lorry's load, got 7 points last year for an SP30 and SP50... So all in all it's not too shabby.

Now now, don't take it too far or we will be having words Actually the Le Mans blue will become a collectors item as I am sure I read Nissan have discontinued the colour in 370s. Everyone I know says my 61 plate Le Mans blue looks fantastic and a superb colour of blue. Even though when I first seen the blue 370s I didn't like them either.

As usual with me impulse took over and I bought a new ipad 3 off a mate who won it thru his work the other day. It's a 4G 16gb one and the screen is very noticeably better. But I have an iPad2 64GB 3G model on Orange so don't know whether to keep this and sell the ipad3 or keep the ipad3 and sell the ipad2, which one will I get the most money for? Would I get £450 for the ipad2?

Meant to say that the size of the boot in the standard 95 is unbelievable...God knows how big it is in the estate..

I owned about 4 Saab 95's starting from a 2.3T and then moving onto 3 Aero 95's and I never thought I would ever get another car. As a second hand buy they are unbeatable as they drop value like a stone. I picked up a 4 year old 95 Aero for just over 7K at the time for a car which was over 25K new is unbelievable. Got it chipped and a car which does 0-60 in around 5 seconds and only insurance group 16 and comfort is superb. Best leather seats for comfort I have ever sat in to be honest. It's a mile cruncher of a car. I really like the brand new shape 95's, look enormous though. So I would say as long as you don't hope to resell in the very near future then go for a Saab every day of the week. That last one I bought for 7k, I took right up to 140k miles plus and sold for 2.5k when I bought my 350Z a couple of years ago.

I presume your Z is an import hence the separate Immobiliser? Guy who helped fit my car pc device had similar system on his import and had all sorts of problems just like your experiencing.

After having the 350 for a few years with the only problem being having to replace the battery, to go to the XKR and thankfully under the warranty I got with it have the brake switch replaced, the aircon condenser replaced, the brake sensors replaced, a reversing sensor replaced. Ariel stopped working going up and down as well, last update to the Sat Nav you could get was 2003, it just seemed endless for me. Must have had the restricted performance mode active for no apparent reason about 15-20 times, and all it needs is to stop, take the keys out for a couple of minutes and go again and everything is fine. Just no confidence in the car. On top of that, came out the casino one night and someone had thrown a strawberry milkshake over it, then outside a pub and someone took their boot to a door. People just get jealous of something they perceive to being expensive, even though it cost little more than I paid for my 350 when I bought that, got as many heads turning and never had anyone do a thing to it. But on the upside when you press that peddle hard down on the floor the smile you get when the bonnet lifts and off you go with the whine of the Supercharger is unbelievable. Biggest disappointment for me was how quiet the exhaust was. Was very tempted to get centre muffler removed and replaced with H pipe to let me hear those 8 cylinders. Guy came over from Germany to buy it with his son, and first stop they had planned was calling into Arden down south to get the exhaust changed so they knew what they were looking for...

I know this might be a way out there suggestion, but along the idea of buying an HR model and modding it slightly why not take your existing car and either supercharge or twin turbo it. You have the reliability you have become accustomed to and a frighteningly quick car which matches just about anything listed so far?? Don't understand why people seem so down on the 370, I got rid of the XKR, which I had enough of if I am to be honest, and I wanted another 350. Just by chance happened into a garage and they gave me a test drive in the 370, after that I couldn't make myself drop down to a 350, the cabin is just so much better. There is certainly no lack of poke in it, definitely faster and feels like it's glued to the road. When I have had it long enough for the warranty to run out I will defo be looking to either supercharge it or twin turbo it as I think it will make it an awesome car.

My Coupe windscreen was replaced last weekend, didn't have any problems with fitment. The fitter did manage to break my passenger side B-Pillar though so garage is replacing it, and only had half a gel pack for the rear view mirror so said he would sort that when came out with new B-Pillar. Apart from that it fits like a glove.

The clips make it look as good as Borat rather than another Bruno, and I don't think Borat was unscripted....

I know getting an Uprev will see the best gains, but if you fit a custom full exhaust will you still see gains? I know when I had the 350 the ECU pegs back any performance gains you might see from exhaust, plenum spacers etc but does the 370 do the same or does it let you see some performance gain if you change an item like an exhaust without getting it remapped?

A lady copper in standard car was travelling alongside me, you can see her car just at left hand side of photo. She was on the m8 and I was going down the sliproad or she said she would have chased after him. When I pulled in I was flashing my lights and honking my horn but he kept going. To be fair unless he was looking in his side mirror he wouldn't have known. I thought for a split second of chasing after him as you come up to a roundabout, but I actually thought the metal was sticking out my window like a bit sail so didn't want to risk it. If I knew it had went over the car I would have boosted after him. As I was stopping a silver Vectra went to pull in to help but I waved them on to go catch the van and they sped off after him but never came back even though I was there for over 2 hours when the traffic cops came as they needed to get an ambulance etc to check me out. New windscreen got fitted on Saturday but as much as it's been hoovered there are shards of glass everywhere....

I watched as the two sheets flew about 20-30 feet in the air like kites, was just about to hit the brake and thought I had a chance so I dropped into 2nd and gunned it. Slightly slower or slightly faster and it was right down on the bonnet or the roof....what a bill it would have been hitting the roof, as it would have punctured it no problem, might even have caught it in my napper.

Was travelling along the M8 and heading down the clyde tunnel slip road on Friday afternoon and lorry in front of me shed two large metal sheets into the air, and one came crashing down on me. Was like slow motion when it happened but it's only afterwards that I think how lucky that I was that 1. It was only the windscreen and 2. I never got killed... Worst of all was that the bampot just kept on driving and still to get a single phone call from the police with even an incident number. I have been out myself and found a traffic camera which would have picked up his numberplate so need to get in contact with the officers to make sure it's being followed up because they probably won't bother their ass.

Warning Screen on Connect Premium Startup
maxi-glasgow replied to mbcx4jrh's topic in 370z Technical
When I turn mines on I have music playing via the music box and I always get the nice lady alerting me of upcoming speed cameras. I don't need to have went thru the acknowledgement screen first. -
Yes that's the one I bought. Saved a fortune over brand new with around 900 miles on the clock and fully spec'd. Yea I agree. I would have liked to have bought that car from them but they were offering a seriously poor trade in price on my 350z. I got £2000 more else where. That's some coincidence as I got £2k more selling my car privately than what they could offer on part exchange. But it wasn't just them I was offered the exact same amount at 3 different garages, just because it was a Jaguar XKR and not something any of these garages would sell themselves.

Maxi-Glasgow Spotted 19th April
maxi-glasgow replied to thetranquilbass's topic in Spotted or Flyered
Yip, it's Uddingston pool league on a Thursday night with a comfortable 7-2 win for our team -
It was first thing I asked as mines was a demonstrator and they always put in Sainsburys higher octane fuel as it is actually the nearest petrol station, and when you go a test drive the salesman drives it for quite a few miles to a nice quiet country road where you can get a good feel for the car but at least it's always been warmed up first.

Know what you mean about being rude to the staff, when we went to the Dominican Republic we were eating a meal on the terrace one night and there was only one other table with about 6 or 7 young guys who were American. One guy lifted a cigarette and said 'light boy' to one of the young waiters, me and the missus had to be escorted off the premises as we went mental... Really fancy going to Mexico though, mate just back from Cancun and he said was he best holiday he has had.

Oh no, I've got a mouse in my house
maxi-glasgow replied to twobears's topic in Off Topic Discussion
When we used to stay in the big house out in the country a few years ago we would get mice now and again coming in, I always put out the humane trap with some chocolate in it and would catch one everytime. Can remember sitting watching the TV and one climbed up the wicker bin and was walking round the top of it to get onto a small table to reach a box of malteasers, I think they look too cute to kill them and you have to love their adaptability. I started letting them out the traps miles away in case it was the same one coming back in all the time I did ponder with the idea of buying a big cage and keeping everyone I caught to see how many I could get....
