  1. Driven a few of them. I think porsche is pretty much the perfect sports car in terms of practicality, but they're just such a common sight in london that you often feel that you wouldn't be a petrol head if you were driving one of them. If I was in the market for one, it could only be the GT2, GT3 or Turbo. The rest of them my zed would wipe the floor with.

    New Project

Excellent buddy! I don't want to see anything under 700bhp on that 33

    BMW M3

Nice car the E92 M3. A mate of mine has one. Only tuneable in N/A form though, but if you have no plans to tune it then it's a good option.
  4. I hate slow cars! LOL I have a 60bhp polo!
  5. V2 with canards is the best for the zed IMO.
  6. I'm going to back track a little here... Forgive my post yesterday, it's the combination of me being ill and the utter tw@ts I know that drive Evo's. They are actually very capable cars. Comparing them to zeds to Evo's is pretty chalk and cheese. Personally if I were in the market for a 4 door saloon, I'd probably opt for something german; an M5 or C63 AMG spring to mind as a performance saloon. If I found myself on some gravel, it would ofcourse have to be an Evo or a Scoob...
  7. this is one of my favourite cars at the moment.
  8. I may just come and crash the party!
  9. Dude, you have taken everything out of context. I was referring to my zed, not a stock one. Evo is just not for me.... I've driven loads and they just don't do it for me. Was really close to buying a 6 many years ago. Build quality on a supra and skyline is the same as an Evo? - LOL ok buddy. Reading it back, was a little harsh. Horses for courses I guess.
  10. Sorry Bennett, my inbox was full. Can anyone else that didn't get through re-send your PM's, I've now emptied my whole mailbox.
  11. Is thinking he needs more boost!

  12. Seems like I always arrive late for the party! Don't know why people in general compare Evo's to Zeds. IMO, Evo's are cheap, crappy cars with little engines and lots of lag. Yes they corner very well, but do take some of the fun out of driving. Plus I hate the short rally gearbox ratio's that mean you need to change gear 3 times before you reach the next traffic light. I don't like the way they sound either. Plus most owners I have met are boy racers. I know a few people with ones that are very highly modded... and they just keep breaking over and over... Don't get me started on the scooby's! lol My zed on the other hand is fairly reliable and robust, sounds like an exotic (better then 99% of cars on the road), it goes like the clappers and is great for long distances as well as track work. An average Evo you see on the road will be faster then the average zed, but it just doesn't compete as a GT car. Skylines and Supra's are much better built cars compared to Evo's and Scoobs, I'd much prefer one of these. I've driven them all at quite some length. The zed is an amazing car for the money and with forced induction can be even better!! - I would even say is a 911 competitor!! An Evo will always just be a compromised piece of turd for wannabe rally drivers. - Its place should remain on the gravel, not the road.
  13. If you like the way the car drives N/A then you will like a SC. If you prefer that 'kick in the arse' feeling then you will need to go turbo. I like both, but for track prefer the former. Personally, I wouldn't turbocharge this car without forging which as you know is big dollar! - Also, I feel with my setup, it's pretty much the limit of the chassis, so unless you have upwards of £25K to spend on doing it properly then I would keep it simple if I were you.
  14. I've had both and much prefer riding on stock 18s with spacers... Then again, my car is more function over form.
  15. I make sure these f--kers know not to even attempt to overtake me!! loool
  16. Very nice!! A lot of car for the money this.
  17. Can confirm Milltek is like OEM. Whether that's a good or bad thing is a matter of opinion I guess.
  18. Quite a few of my mates have a GT-R... and they're all tuned. Would have to be either one of those or a more grown up C63 AMG for me I think. Contemplating what my next car is going to be because of this thread.... I just feel I could never part with my supercharged zed!
  19. ACT NZ1-XTSS. BRAND NEW, BOXED. For sale, one of the best (if not thee best) street clutch available for the 350z. This is ACT's strongest street application clutch available. Clutch torque rating is a conservative 520lb/ft. I've been through 5 clutches in my 350z and this is definitely the best by far. No harsh on / off feel, stalling the car... silky smooth engagement, long lasting clutch that will also take a lot of abuse on track and on the road with no nextday whiplash in the process. Complete clutch kit includes: - Performance Street Sprung Disc (3000409) - Xtreme Pressure Plate (N021X) - Alignment Tool (AT01) - Pilot Bearing (PB1012) - Release Bearing (RB130) I believe this will fit all manual transmission VQ zeds and 350GTs. Slight variance in pressure plate for HR motors, PM me if that's your application! RRP: £750+ Willing to let go for £580 shipped with insurance!
