  1. Think I've had mine for nearly 5 years now. Defo the longest I've kept a car. The spec it's at now, there's very little that can compete with it in the price range. Plus I think the car looks and sounds like an exotic and is a good all-rounder GT car.
  2. I remember when I was really young and it was all about trying to look old enough to get into a club. .... Now it's all about trying to look young enough to not look out of place in one! LOL
  3. This track is a proper clubby track. It's really a love or hate thing. Agree that britney is a slag!... not that anyone said that?
  4. Yep, I'll put it all on a table when we have a good number of cars.

  6. Ok so I've nicked this idea off the US forum. It would be interesting to get an idea of numbers of how many FI zeds we have in the UK. I think the number of FI cars are slowly increasing as they get older. If you're running forced induction, please add what type of FI (turbo, s/c, nitrous or combination?) and whether you're built motor or stock, how much boost (or nos shot), the EMS, and an approx estimate of BHP or RWHP / lb/ft, how many boosted miles (approx), and anything else that's interesting with regards to your build (e.g. if you blew a motor before and are now built, how many miles it blew? etc)... List so far: 1. Wizard: 350z Vortech v3 3:13 pulley, DE bone stock motor, 13psi, UpRev, 450bhp / 400lb/ft @hubs, over 10k boosted miles - BLOWN. New: Forged DE, v3 2.87, 490bhp / 427lb/ft @ hubs. 7. What got me in the whole show was that these old farts were getting together at each other's houses and trying to find ways to campaign, etc.. WTF?!? Why were they so afraid to go and speak to the car drivers themselves and raise their concerns?! It's almost as if they saw them as a different species to themselves, and that I can only put down to racism. It's the typical english stab you in the back mentality (not being racist ). Fact is, council isn't going to do anything other then put a few more police patrols in place as they said in the show that it brings in around £100m to the economy. For a month or two, and such a small group of people, that is amazing! Oh and that aventador getting towed?! - That was really poor judgement from the officer imo. He could NOT prove that he didn't have insurance. That's not Rashid's fault, he can only show him the paperwork he has.
  8. I just read that bit At least I can say that I've touched it and peered inside. Truly epic vehicle. Shame I never saw it run live. I've seen it run several times and it's absolutely epic. Surprised Abbey aren't picking it up....
  9. "This is a RACE car so NO it's not advisable to use it to go to sainsbury's or a sat night cruise or in the rain as i doubt you'll be seen again"
  10. Yeah I've ran coilovers in the past on different cars and it hasn't been the most pleasant experience, despite their obvious benefits.
  11. I once got a quote off a price comparison website for £22K and I was considerably older then 18 at the time!
  12. Isn't it obvious? Potholes, ditches, hills, crests, my dental plan... LOL
  13. Anyone know such a thing that exists for this car?
  14. They're all pretty similar, but you want the GT spec or imported equivalent so you can get decent brakes, VDC, etc.. Do let us know how you get on with insurance side of things!
  15. Happy bday Dipam.. didn't realise you were so old.... LOL
  16. I think Mark's point about the car being able to handle the power is a very good one. The car can definitely handle upwards of 400bhp rather safely without compromising the chassis at all. I've seen a lot of badly modified examples of front-wheel drive cars having over 450bhp which never made sense to me... but again, some people are just into straight line performance. Forced induction on this car is not cheap as you're starting with an N/A application, but I think the result works very well. I have done many side by side comparisons (take of that what you will ) with many exotic cars and the zed still stacks up very well... and in some ways, such as the fun factor actually turns out better. In terms of longevity; my motors probably done over 10K miles boosted (will need to check abbey invoices to confirm exactly) and the motor has held up very well considering I'm running more boost then people typically do on a stock 'DE. If you have the cash, s/c is a good option and I personally do not regret one bit. Alternatively you can sell the zed put a few more pounds towards a Carrera or something as dull and see me waving while I very easily walk away from you...
  17. What is the use of this thread Dip? is it supposed to get his attention? If he's not replying then just drop it lol
  18. If it's drinking oil buddy, I would top up with slightly thicker stuff then 5w. I would use 10w or even 15w fully synthetic.
  19. Not sure if anyone answered the question... As it's really torque that kills the motor, I'd say the limit is around 400lb/ft with a good tune. Our yankie friends have managed to run more then that for a long period of time, and many have blown it with less. Depends on luck as well, but with cars, I believe the only thing you can do is stack the odds in your favour and you will increase your luck that way!
  20. If you mean ZMANALEX then I suggest you pm him  LOL... I was trying to help out OP. And his name isn't Zmanalex, it's alex... jheeze, you guys have created an icon for him as well... *face palm*
  21. I'm not using my WON kit and have a maximiser controller as well (all direct from WON). PM me CrumbMC if you have not brought one.
  22. Alex can help you on this. It's a GATES branded belt you can get. My 3:13 pulley takes 2034mm belt quite nicely with the tensioner.
