  1. You ever thought about taking the car mats out and pressure washing them? It drives the dirt out of them, then just hang them to dry, its a quick and easy way to get them clean quick.....
  2. Looks really good, so much tidier, top work, a proper show car
  3. Bit of Drum and Bass but perfect for the car........

    *STANCE*

Ok as requested... My new wheels are Front:- 8.5j et20....4mm spacer required (with 5mm spacer im -1) Rear:- 10j et40....13mm spacer required (with 20mm spacer im -7) On my old wheels, I had 20mm spacers all round, which looked fine Front:- 8.5j et35....19mm spacer required (with 20mm spacer im -1) Rear:- 9.5j et35....14mm spacer required (with 20mm spacer -6) So basically, I thought my stance was spot on with 20mm spacers all round on my old wheel set up And on my new wheel set up, Id pretty much be keeping the same stance, which is all good...

    *STANCE*

Yeah worked ok, means I need 4mm on the front, and 13mm on the rear Im gonna keep my 20mm on the rear, and maybe get 5mm spacers for the front... Im an aggressive stance fan....
  9. Really good writeup, makes perfect sense to me. Its just financially, its not always the practical thing to do thats all. When i bought my car last year, it had good front tyres, good years I think, but bad rear ones, so before I took delivery, I made sure he replced them, which he did. However he fitted an avon to one side and a yokohama to the other.... (both had very similar tread pattern so I thought fine) After 7 months, I damaged one of the fronts, so decided to replace the both as a pair, and got a brand new set of kumho ecstas (which i always found very good on previous cars) However I wasnt getting the grip i was expecting, (maybe now realising i had 3 different makes of tyre) I also lowered the car, and fitted 20mm spacer and had a full laser allignment done. Having taken the wheels off last week to sell, i noticed the yokohama tyre has worn significantly more than the avon tyre (now i first thought, maybe i need allignment done again) now i realise its having different tyres... Anyway, I have bought a new set of wheels and reassured (after reading this) that I have bought falkens for all 4 corners! hopefully I will notice the difference in handling now!
  10. I not got a pic, but I'll test fit a front and rear on the Z tomoz and take some pics....
  11. Yeah very good price, just need to get some rubber on them when they arrive tomorrow, but Im in no rush, as I cant drive for another 4 weeks at least due to a left hand injury... Looking forward to getting them, I only seen one pic of them, they look a bit bling...
  12. They are mine!!! Hopefully get them tomorrow!! Watch this space.......... Dan
  13. Its just 4 screws, if you pop the bonnet up, its not hard to see......
  14. Well I cant see it either......
  15. Yeah, thats how I do it...... Good quick guide Marky.... Thats pretty much it really! Enough said....
  16. Ok I assume I have it pretty spot on then???
  17. Ok the spark plugs, you have 3 either side of the engine, where the yellow dipstick is, behind that, and exactly the same opposite side of the engine, or plenum chamber. And I hope you know where the battery is............
  18. I recognise that pic............. I jet washed mine, just be careful where you point the nozzle thats all, obviously away from battery compartment, and any exposed areas. Safest thing to do, is wrap any exposed parts, spark plug housings etc in carrier bags first, well tied up.... Can add a detergent to get rid of grime and oil etc, and agitate with an alloy wheel brush, then make sure you rinse it off well Then finish the whole lot off with dashboard spray/shine..... brings up the plastics and rubbers really well......
  19. Yes i agree... Your lucky I didnt put any TRD or Rallisport stickers in there, ha ha Then you could proper flame me!!
  20. Ok cool, Im now discovering how expensive tyres are for 20's!! I dont want to put cheap tyres on, after all the effort Im making with the car..... I found Falken 452's £260 for the fronts and £340 for the rears, which makes £600 for all 4 tyres, plus i need to get them fitted, most garages fit tyres for around £20 a pop, so £80 for fitting, makes a grand total of £680 for the tyres alone....... (£170 each) When shopping they been as high as £350 each though.......mega ouch! So with a bit of shopping around you can pretty much get tyres half price! The funny thing is, the rims I've seen are only £600! Whats all your experiences???
  21. Well I have 20mm all round anyway, maybe hopefully keep the 20mm on the rears (less aggressive than 25) and saves me buying new spacers! And i love aggressive!
  22. Yeah ok ok, Im thinking just keep the ones by the bumper, lose the ones by the battery covers etc... You should see the underside of the bonnet, I've attacked that too! ha ha I bought 17 sheets of JDM stickers from china for about £5, an ebay bargain, so I got a bit sticker happer, using them up! ha ha
