  1. Correct Attak, As a Groundworker, I dig a lot of holes! Basically you have to ensure your not undermining neighbours (or your own foundations) Therefore You usually keep a metre off neighbouring walls, which is roughly the 45 degree thing. What a lot of people dont realise on these kind of projects, is the amount of muck (earth) you'll be shifting, you could be talking about 10-20 20 tonne lorry loads... at £200 a pop, its not cheap. You then have to tank it (waterproof) it, and run electrics etc to it. And above all else, it has to be safe..... Often means trench sheets, or a big box in which to work in, even these can be about £200 a week to hire...... So yeah, its feasible, you. will need a big digger, and anything can be done for the right money, but as they say there are £1000's in the ground and £100's above it....
  2. That place looks amazing!!

    japspeed k1

I got K1 on my coupe, and I always have bungs in mine... Why dont you take them out?? Then you will know if theres a difference, cos if they are loud now, they are considerably louder without the bungs! Another cheap alternative, is dynamatting the rear boot perhaps? take out the spare wheel and surrounding trim and mat it all out, may drown out the noise more?? Just an option, and and a cheap alternative, get a boot kit for around £40 on ebay....... will also accoutically should make the stereo sound better too......
  4. Any mods you make, wont make a difference on the engine performance, unless it has a remap to compliment them, and to make full use of them Therefore, any induction kits/Exhausts are purely for the delight of your ears..... more roarrrrr So what kit you choose is all down to personal taste, go on youtube, theres plenty of americans that have fittest various combos, see what ones you like the sound of best... Myself, I have an AEM cold air induction, K1 exhaust, and newly fitted plenum spacer, however none of these mods will take effect performance wise until I have a remap. Untill then, it just sounds lush!
  5. Yeah i get the green light on my UK....... it is funny though, for the sake of a a few extra wires, why dont they include stuff like that on the JDMs One thing thats always bugged me are the red reflectors on the door cards, why dont they light up??? For ages I thought it was a fuse or bulb gone, only to realise theres no lights in them??? Strange.....

  17. Is it me, or are they damn hard to get off??? At the mo, Im in the middle of removing door cards and centre dash trim.in order to swap the stereo and speakers.... Done everything, but the plugs are slowing me downnnnnnnnn Just need to disconnect the drivers and passenger electirc windows etc, got a flat head screw driver in there to try and depress the retaining hinge while pushing at the same time and its damn hard!! Also have the centre dash out(ish) managed to unclip the electrical plug at the top to the dials, but the ones on the bose are a *?!*?! Any possible tips?? Or do I have to keep plodding along, sheer brute force! Its too hot out there, makes it harder! Dan
