  1. Not that i am saying that the above comments are wrong because they are not, but is the clutch on the car tickety-boo? Have known one or two to have these symptoms before and its ended been the clutch slipping
  2. Yes watched that on Sunday night. Very grim in parts
  3. I am sure someone will, but i would keep the 06 airbox and put a decent panel filter in if i was you. The standard airbox is much better than a pop charger but if you want to lose a few bhp and gain some noise then go for the pop charger. Have had both but eventually sold the pop charger when i realised the engine ran much better with a panel filter (K&N) fitted to the airbox.
  4. bump, this weekend Hmm i am off too
  5. Re-named the title slightly No 4 not approved because no username on paper in the picture.

  8. Rude? I gave a couple of explanations to things thrown at me, dont really see how any of them are rude?
  9. WTF!! It was a welcome back Dave thread that as per usual went off topic that was far from sensible. I no longer want to discuss my thoughts and position with anyone else! Its the weekend and its time to enjoy life outside of it. Really dont understand why you are making a mountain out of a molehill.
  10. +1 Certainly gone down hill in the last couple of years. Anyhow i am down Anglesey and about to go boating so if you dont mind i think i will have the last word and lock this thread, it is after all the weekend and we all have lives outside of the forum But hey if i am lost at sea you can all rejoice later
  11. I NEVER ONCE LOCKED OR UNLOCKED THE THREAD! Would you care to name the many people i wind up on here? May be i should start a thread asking that very question? Cant be that bad because i coaxed 60 + of you out for a run out in Wales back in 2009 for our biggest ever meet +1 Nicely put Chris AND FOR THE FINAL TIME THE DECISION TO BAN RICH AND JOHN FOR 7 DAYS WAS A TEAM ONE!!
  12. I doubt it but wondered if not having the resistors might cause issue's with the BCM. I hope not...can somebody please fill us in? I will replace mine with resistor ones immediately if that's the case! Like i said i doubt it. The led's will pull less current than the stock filament type and like you say its probably more to do with a failed lamp feature if a car supports that.

  15. No totally incorrect. Husky and Rich orchestrated their own bans and like i said it was not my decision but a team one. Its their fault they are banned and no one else's. The posts they made last night have been deleted. Keith made that post a day or so ago. The post i made was made whilst discussing the possibility of bans for John and Rich. It was a funny coincidence. Dont see what the problem is both have had warnings for previous incidents and last nights post made by the same two again means that they now both spend 7 days on the side lines.

  17. But taken from the ebay link Mike DUE TO THE REDUCED RESISTANCE IN LED BULBS CERTAIN CARS MAY REQUIRE A RESISTOR TO BE INSTALLED WHICH WILL THEN ALLOW THE BULBS TO SIMULATE THE SAME RESISTANCE AS YOUR STANDARD FILAMENT BULBS. A SMALL ADDITIONAL PRICE TO PAY TO ACHIEVE THE LOOK THAT THESE BULBS WILL PRODUCE!
  18. We currently have two even money favourites Keith
  19. And judging by the picture already have the resistor fitted unlike the ebay one's
  20. So which ones's do i need if doing the number plate and the sidelights? Are they the same as each other? Four of these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 1439.l2649
  21. Funny you should say that - the electrical contractor who is assessing the damage to the electrics said he wanted to fully test the panel as not 1 fuse tripped The pic with the 4 way extension lead completley underwater had a monitor and a printer plugged in both of which were still on - I have no idea how that could happen! Usually everything goes fizz bang when water and electric get inthe mix! Been a industrial sparky for 31 years so i should be right in thinking something is quite not right with your electrics. Do you not have a earth leakage circuit breaker on your sockets?
