  1. Or are you just trying to reset the mcb to the sockets? If thats the case and you have unplugged the hoover then you have problems elsewhere. And yes you may have damaged the mcb if you continually keep switching it on to a fault condition and if so you will need a electrician to sort. :edit: I would also unplug everything else thats plugged in to the sockets as well.
  2. Firstly in most cases the main ELCB (Earth leakage circuit breaker) will cut power to most circuits in your property unless on a split consumer unit. It should certainly cut power to the sockets. My advice when this happens is always to switch off all mcb (minature circuit breakers) that are fed via the elcb, this makes it easier to reset the elcb. When this is done switch back on all the mcb'c back on one at a time. Have you checked to see if all the mcb's are back on? Normally sockets are protected via a 32A mcb or fuse this may be tripped that inturn took out the elcb I am assuming your circuits are individually protected by mcb's and not fuses? How is the socket circuit protected? I am assuming all other circuits work ok after resetting the elcb? :edit: if the circuit breaker to the sockets is tripped then i would not use the hoover again and get it checked over by a qualified electrician.
  3. Seems that someone could not wait till midnight for the game http://technabob.com/blog/2011/11/07/mo ... -3-stolen/ They hit the truck with a car first and then actually used tear gas to neutralize the drivers and make off with the truck

  8. I'm wondering if that came of a nismo kitted GT4
  9. And what difference will that make in this case when you have fog and heavy rain and darkness? There will be the same accidents on the motorway regardless with the odd biggy like this one now and again. I dont drive on the motorway that much but the odd times i have in recent months i can honestly say the standard of driving in general is atrocious Poor lane discipline, driving to close to the car infront are the main problems i noticed and people not paying any attention to the driving conditions they find themselves in and chuck in the fact that most cant use indicators or the mirrors in their vehicles i am surprised there are not more accidents on this scale. What is it with Friday's and motorways? every friday afternoon the M6 near me is generally closed for several hours even in good weather between J15 and J20 because of a big accident!! :edit: And forgot the fantastic standard of driving of some foreign lorry drivers using our motorways as well! I do agree the limit should be raised in general too 80mph but that would not have averted last nights accident. Hope not too many people were killed last night or injured in this horrible crash though.
  10. +1 and for quite a while i believe
  11. The feeling the engine gave me after putting the standard airbox back on after having the pop charger on for a couple of years won me over.
  12. This FTW though If you are going to be random this is the way to do it!
  13. Yes very Are there scaffolding planks in the way as well? Though the signal hitting the dish comes in at a steeper angle than you think, have you got a pic showing the dish and the scaffolding?
  14. Good job Greekman wasn't rocking the van the lot would have gone over! Why would you want one that close to the edge anyway? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-sout ... s-15540048
