  1. There is a house near me called "The Swamp"
  2. More than happy to stand down as a moderator (again ) in a heartbeat if the forum admin ask me too. I will miss the 80k annual salary and all the perks that come with the job like approving posts in the middle of the night (when on night shifts) whilst most of you are asleep but heyho thats life. But it seems like your on a bit of a mission with this Neil, so good luck with the outcome your after? I am happy either way. Oh and just one reminder you have only been here since 2009, some of us have been here another three to three and a half years before you arrived.
  3. Looks like a BA (Boeing 777) plane to me. I reckon you can see the red flashes of the ribbon near the nose and the top part of the vertical stabilizer arrowed (that looks orangey). I could be wrong though
  4. My dad was in intensive care last year for 3 week's last June (collapsed and stopped breathing at home)!. Every single one of them on that ward (MIU WARD 11) at the North Staffs was an absolute star. He then had 8 chemotherapy session's and 20 days of Radiotherapy at the North Staffs Cancer Unit for Lymphoma . Thanks to the excellent treament he recieved from all of those on the intensive care ward, the cancer ward and those on the Hematology ward he is back at home and making excellent progress. No complaints from me. And he will be with me at Chester races on the 9th May
  5. When i was asked if i would like to become a moderator back in 2007 and can honestly say non of the above was true. The pm asking me to be a mod came like a bolt out of the blue and was a great surprise to me. I had attended just a couple of meets at that time!
  6. lmao unfortunately admins get to keep their job as they are the bosses of bosses Careful...................
  7. You cant go wrong with a Crucial M4. Make sure you keep up with their regular firmware updates though, great strides have been made since the 002 firmware. http://www.crucial.com/support/firmware.aspx
  8. Good memory is cheap enough anyway, though i only paid £35 for this a couple of months back so got 16gig of the stuff. Ideal for an i5/i7 set up. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... =MY-094-KS
  9. Not sure that 143 online was correct anyway. Sometimes the forum software screws this number up, a few years back on the old software we had in excess of 300 one night!
  10. Schumacher highly critical of Pirelli http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/17808768 And very surprised that Rosberg did not get a penalty. If this had been Lewis............ http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/17808396
  11. Can i also make the point that not all bricks are made in the same way. For example where i work they are extruded and wire cut, where as at some brick factories they use whats called a soft mud process where the bricks are formed in a mould. Typically these are for the southern market and have a high sand content whick means they absorb water much more than our extruded wire cut brick. Bricklayers typically can lay soft mud bricks quicker than wire cut bricks simply because they absorb water better.
  12. I dont know Chris i am too pi**ed to argue and i know longer care! I hate bricks
  13. Looks a good one here http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/produ ... RC-trolley jack
