Favourite band Rainbow then Deep Purple. Best track of all time is Stargazer from the 1976 album Rainbow Rising. This track is an absolute master class in hard rock from Cozy Powells (RIP) opening Drum sequence to Ritchie Blackmore's outrageous guitar playing. Also the route so we could enter on sat navs which was all very useful. Any similar plans this time? BTW, there seems to be two threads running about the run - time now just for one ? It looks like this next run wont be as big as the last, we will all meet at junction 14 on the m56 at 9am leaving at 10am. Lunch is booked for 12.30 at the same pub as last time. Most people i hope will want the carvery. If you want something different then pm me. As regards the names this was lomotos idea and he came up with the goods last time. the route will also be the same as last time. With the amount of cars i dont see a problem driving in one convoy . I had already posted up the route earlier......but here it is again. 1) Follow M56 to end, then hang a left onto the A494 towards Mold (via A5117). 2) Follow A494 past Mold towards Ruthin. 3) At Ruthin stay on A494 towards Bala. 4) A494 comes to end at Corwen, turn right onto A5 then left at next lights onto A494 to Bala. 5) At Bala, pull into the car park next to the lake and have a nice break (hopefully wtih some nice autumnal sun! Coolio) 6) Walk back 2 mins into Bala and grab some lunch at the same place as last time. 7) Take the A4212/A470 over the moors to Betws-y-coed (cracking road last time, nice and scenic). 8) Take A5 back out of Betws-y-coed then take the B4501 towards Denbigh 9) At Denbigh, then follow signs for Ruthin on A525. 10) Make way back up the A494 towards M56. 11) Cruise home via M56.....
