Well guys and girls the date is now set for Sunday May 11th, this will be the 5th Wales drive out. Can we beat the 30+ zeds we had last April? I certainly hope so. So get your names down for this great day out. For those who have not been before, this is a bi-anual event/meet held by 350z-uk.com. We start at the Chester services on the M56 and then spend the day driving some of the best roads in North Wales, with a top pub lunch and some great banter. The brief details are a morning start, taking in a scenic drive to a picturesque lake at Bala where the group stops for lunch, photos and chat before taking in some further excellent driving roads until time for an afternoon break. The day concludes with some of the best driving roads in the country, turning plenty of heads throughout the day as the convoy makes its way through the towns and villages along the way. Many choose to stay over on the Saturday before and indulge in nearby shopping and entertainment with a meal together on the Saturday evening. No dont drain the fuel , fill it right to the brim this way you wont leave an air gap , besides which I'm sure the Zed doesnt have a drain plug on the fuel system.. Fuel wont go bad in 3 months if you do this But surely you'll still have air in there? I'll admit I'm no expert on the Z and its fuel system, but surely there's some kind of vent that allows fumes to escape and not build up in there, meaning that the tank isn't fully airtight? Either way, I'd not take the risk. Maybe drain is the wrong word. Burn it by driving instead! No you'll always have a small amount of fuel left in the bottom of the tank that will go bad, three months is nothing really, certainly not long enough for a full tank of petrol to go off, I know mines been laid up since October ( in fact since the last Wales run out whenever that was ) +1 Yep Tim is right, fill her up, also stops any chance of condensation building up inside the tank.

Well guy's according to the recent press i have now reached the lowest most depressing point of my life, i am supposed to be having a mid-life crisis and suffering severe bout's of depression. Shows again that image is more important than real-life statistics for some people. Do a bit of research on reliability statistics http://www.reliabilityindex.co.uk/tophu ... 9010848601 Its worrying me that we keep agreeing, mate! This is spot on. The Germans are great at perceived quality (i.e. nice squishy plastics and high quality leather) and living on a reputation but when it comes to real world reliability, Japan is leagues ahead. I agree too. the Jap's are way a head, i had a Lexus IS 200 for a cople of years and nothing ever went wrong and the level of service was the best i have ever experienced.
