  1. A guy i work with purchased one recently a 2.0 litre diesel model. Its always in the garage with allsorts of problems with the DPF. I think he's recently had it removed and re-mapped though.
  2. Dimmer switch will be fine if these lamps operate at 240 volt. 5 X 20watt = 100 watts so get a dimmer rated for about 250 watts. Buzzing is caused sometimes from the electronic circuitry within the dimmer, the more you dim typically the buzzier they get. But buy a good quality one and everything will be fine. If low voltage because its got a built in transformer then you will have to check the technical data to see if the transformer will work with a dimmer. Some are fine to use with a dimmer.

  13. Led mate. Like this and it's going into an existing led puddle light http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-LED-SHAD ... 3567wt_826 Does not matter about polarity on a filament bulb but it certainly does on a led. Sounds like you need to reverse the connections. It could very easily be the case that the brown wire is the positive. Wont do any harm in trying it. Just reconnect it and keep the lamp body away from the chassis of the car though i expect its plastic anyhow.
  14. What sort of light is it filament bulb or L.E.D?
