  1. Fit them yourself Mike, very easy to fit.
  2. Saw an Audi R8 at Birmingham airport the other week, in one of those airport competitions and i remember telling the guy that really it did not look anything special or even worth remotely the money they cost. Like you say the zed is a lot of car for the money.
  3. And if matgt post's he will be rewarded with a free site sticker. 3000
  4. Had many long haul flights flying with Qantas, a great airline with a great reputation in having never lost a life or airframe unlike the world's favourite airline. Still more frightening doing a controlled depressurised decent 20,000 feet, when parts of the plane have just left the hull, than a storm when you are on the ground IMO. Sure you have had many good Qantas flights, there is a lot of concern with their currently policy of outsourcing a lot of functions and running old craft e.g.the one with the problem was 17 years old. There is a concern that Qantas repair things now that others would not to keep that reputation. Cause of problem is unknown and speculation seems to be around 3 causes, either way crew did a great job and all were safe. You are right i first flew on this type (747-400) back in 92, they need the delayed Airbus A380 they have on order to start arriving soon to replace some of the older aircraft. I think they get the first soon. The one i know they repaired landed long at Bangkok and ended up on the golf course, they repaired the hull to maintain their no lost hull's record. Boeing need to get on and develop the 747-800........but not sure it will ever see the light of day. But at the end of the day the 400 was and still is a fantastic aircraft.
  5. At the moment I have 235/35-19 on the front and 265/30-19 on the back. I have been relialably informed by a few tyre manufacturer's that they are too small for the Alloy and gives incorrect information to the speedo and the TCS. I thought of the 255/35 and 285/35 to try and offer a little protection to the Alloys if I got a bit close to the kerb. I am not sure these will fit the 8.5J and 9.5J width though as the recommended sizes are 245/35 and 275/35 respectfully. This is why I asked what size you guys have on 19" Alloys. Thanks fatalus and beavis for your input Ahh sorry Neil i thought you had 245/35-19 and 275/35-19 fitted and were suggesting the other size you mentioned These are the size on my nismo's and ideally this would be what you need on yours, so yes you may have tyres on which are not the ideal size for your rims
  6. Uprated JWT clutch and flywhhel is £1100 fitted. How much for standard clutch/flywheel Phil?
  7. Neil, You have the best size tyre for your wheel/car combination
  8. I was thinking about this the other day, put me down too. But Mike what sort of numbers would be realistic? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... sc&start=0

  10. Hi Alan to the forum, i would say nismo as i have one anyhow. Contact bigphil (ESR) on here about £850 iirc. One of the best upgrade you can do for the money imho and puts a big grin on your face
  11. Hi Steve to the forum. Clutch failure at that mileage is a little unusual but there as been the odd case iirc. On average i think 40k can be expected from the clutch. Hard to know what to say except those prices been quoted are massively over the top for flywheel/clutch replacement. Seen a quote on here before from a Nissan dealer which was just over a grand and if you got your clutch/flywheel replaced at ESR you got expect to pay a lot less Not really heard of anyone else having clutch/flywheel problems on a low mileage late model car.
  12. Bet your arse did not feel to clever either
