Hi guys, Digsy is correct but you wasting your time with Co-ordsport, Phil grey imported the wheels to get them for the prices he was offering them at. Unfortunately Rays won't touch the wheels because corrosion, specifically salt corrosion, isn't covered under warranty because they wheels are not designed to be used on our roads. They are marked of summer use only on the paperwork and any tests that Rays conduct on the wheels will conclude that they've been used in a less than favourable environment! Best thing to do is have them refurbed and change to your stock wheels in the winter to preserve there life. Gaz Define 'grey imported them'......... +1

Yes i think that would be fine, like i said its there only for monitoring purposes so very little current will be used.

If it was too low a wattage it would get very warm. But in this case i should imagine nothing really happens unless heaven forbid you were in a crash. I should imagine some type of charge is sent to the airbag in the event of crash that blows some type of blowable fuse (in your case a resistor) that activates the airbag. The fact that you are fitting a resistor only tells the airbag monitoring unit that it is connected to the airbag which must have a similar impedance of 2.2ohm hence clearing the light, and in that case i should imagine only a very small signal current is used.
