  5. Well went for my first test drive in the new 370z today thanks to Holdcrofts. Spent about 20 minutes driving it. Firstly now that i have seen it in the flesh i am still not sold on how the car looks, when i first saw the 350z i thought wow, but this car does not have the same effect on me. This particular car was white and i was less than impressed with the paint match between body and front bumper Its been said that this will be resolved for customer cars. The first couple of miles i drove it i was surprised at how docile it was and that the engine did not feel that much different than my own car. That was soon to change however when she was fully warm and i planted my right foot To me there felt quite a bit more power and urgency than my own car, i also noticed that there seems a lot more torgue too and the engine seemed to pull well from low revs in any gear something the rev-up engine does not do. The only problem with the engine is its just too quiet The interior i loved and is a big improvement and my own zed felt very dated when i got back in it. The steering felt a bit vague at times (much prefer how mine feels, lot more feedback) and the pedals felt heavier too but overall it felt totally natural going from a 350 to a 370 not much difference at all. The best bit of the car by far imo is the synchro rev match transmission In a word superb each gear change was a smooth a silk. The seats also deserve a mention in the fact that that they are a lot more supportive than the 350's, though Ryan did say he did not like them Also bluetooth and the ability to play mp3's now come as standard. Was great to get back in my car after though if purely for the noise. The only other thing i noticed driving the 370z was the fact nobodys head was turned by the car something my 350 still does today despite been 4 years old. And before anyone says anything yes i am ugly but do i give a ****? No
  6. All, Recent postings by one individual have struck a remarkable resemblance to a former administrators posts. This caused us to initiate an investigation for the protection of our members as outlined in our T's & C's. Results Below: It has come to our attention that a former member who left this community has re-registered and been posting here for some time (over 1 year) using a different username. The individual has also been trading with members of this community privately under false names. The original account of this individual had the username TheMinel, the "new" account is 350Zedinburgh. This individual has made his position quite clear in the past as to what he thinks of our community, in his own words referring to it as "spam filled and chav ridden" , along with the recent "discussions" over the 370z-uk.com domain name. Given these previous demonstrations of respect (or lack thereof) toward our community, the administration team took the extraordinary step of investigating any and all actions undertaken by this individual on our community, in the interests of protecting all other members from potential abuse. As noted in the terms and conditions of access when registering on these boards, we have reviewed the raw contents of our database and noted all activity made by this member. This individual has been using our messaging systems to privately trade with members of our community. We do not know how many of these trades were completed, as we are not in a position to investigate the "other side" of the conversation, our investigation is limited to the contributions made to our database by the one individual. The individual has provided false names to others when conducting these trades or offering parts for sale, on more than one occasion providing a female contact name. This is not within the spirit of the community, and indeed we would question the need as to why a false name/identity should be provided when making transactions. It is conceivable that some people may have concluded trades with this person that they may not have wished to, had they known the true identity of the individual they were dealing with. If this is the case, we would suggest any affected individual who is unhappy at this contact either their solicitor or the police for further advice. On one occasion a member of this community was directed to a sale post on another forum and the sender of the message here (the individual in question) claimed not to know who the seller was on the other forum. They were in fact the same individual. We class this kind of deception as a serious infraction of our rules. As such, the team have unanimously decided to remove this individual from our boards with immediate effect. We are also aware that this individual has also registered on another UK forum using the same alias, and the individual in question is also registered on other large Z communities around the globe. Given the above, we would strongly suggest any forum/club review whether this individual can be trusted to act/post/trade in an appropriate manner within their community. If the terms of access of any particular organisation permit, we would also suggest investigation as to whether this individual has also been trading under false names within their community and take any action they feel appropriate. Should any police authority request a copy of the database or specific information within, we are obliged to provide this to them. A copy of our database prior to the deletion of this member has been taken should this become a requirement. Regards, The 350Z-uk.com management team.
