That is fine and normal. I have one on mine and it keeps the battery cycled between 13 and 13.5 volts. Green led when charging and red led when draining.

to the forum. Yep Bose does skip when cold. I would be tempted to see what the clutch feels like after a couple of hundred miles when bedded in. Not sure about the gearbox thing but i do know it can be an issue.
