Hoping to get it done very soon Should work well with the thermal spacer, k&n, nismo zorst and the fresh set of iridiums fitted.

Best mod ever fitted in my eyes! But must getted booked in for the re-map now Beavis, you've not re-mapped after install of the MREV? Tut tut.... I noticed a loss in MPG - although sound and performance puts a great smile on my face! Only been fitted in the last couple of weeks and the car has been sorned over the winter anyway but gets taxed next week.

Fair point But for normal road use i would expect these to last well more than 30k.

I have to admit they do look good but if these are going to last longer than the oem type isn't the guarantee a bit low? The oem replacement bush would last 3 years and 30,000 miles surely?

A big +1. Had exactly the same experience. Standard airbox with a K&N panel filter these days for me.

I used my G220 over the weekend in the garage and find it supprisingly quiet, certainly not loud enough to warrant ear protection. But then again i am from the pre nanny state era and have been working on heavy industrial equipment for over 30 years, so probably my ears are used to big noise and are probably f@cked anyway!! Despite passing my hearing test last year!

No need to disconnect any coolant pipes mate. +1 You can easily lift the plenum high enough to fit a spacer. I have just done the same job and did not have to disconnect any cooling pipes and i did the lower collector too. You will easily have enough room to replace a cam cover
