  1. You called "Goldmember"?
  2. oil changes are easy. but did go to my local garage and put her on a lift, removed the plastic covers underneath and the oil filter is really easy to access.
  3. If you buy the K1 off CS, you'll get a full set of new bolts and gaskets too. My local garage fitted mine and because the OEM came off with no drama and the K1 slotted in nicely, they only charged me £17 for the pleasure. I also paid by way of a solo performance in the garage, the overture was with bungs, the main set was without bungs. Smiles all round was a definate sign of appreciation.
  4. I'd want a hard bound book for that money ...and at least one pic of a Zed in it...
  5. If you do alot of motorway miles, then this exhaust is NOT for you. (unless you leave the bungs in)
  6. Nice one scoring the No.8, true chinese stylee
  7. Unless you want to appear on the evening news with a free video...
  8. The Chillies do sets of 5Zigen ProNuts in various colours, from memory they are anodised red, anodised blue and black. These are full sets of 20 nuts, 4 of them are locking nuts. They come in the standard length and also in extended length. If you have a look at AdrianK's car you see the red variety viewtopic.php?f=61&t=20314
  9. I have come to the conclusion as to why possibly the Zed ended up with the name Nigel. It's quick...perhaps like Nigel Mansell? Should have called the Zed Harry tbh, then you could give a similar story as to how "Harry met Sally", lol (cue restaurant scene, but in a car dealership instead...)
  10. I don't care about resale value, I'm just enjoying the ride.
  11. Ah, I see. Will keep a look out for the plate and a female Zed driver. You could modify your rear badge by turning the "Z" by 90 degrees, then you'll have a 350N-igel, lol
  12. That sounds promising Leon. Be sure to post up pics and further details once the prototypes are made up. Will be keeping an eye on this thread.
  13. Welcome to the forums sally. Should you ever spot a Zed that's silver with a carbon bonnet, that's me. rtbiscuit also lives in Ipswich, aswell as SilentKK8 (they too have silver ones) I have noticed an increase of Zeds in Suffolk tho. Seen a GM with a numberplate ending in FRR parked up a few roads from me. (gave me a wave once when I had spotted him the second time this week)
  14. I was trying to be curtious a few days ago, and fitted the bungs the night before my first dayshift. But sadly for my neighbours, half way thru my 12 hour shift, I removed them (had dent puller, 10mm spanner and No.5 allen key in car) I just love the bung-less sound too much. Should I cease posting within the next few weeks, then you'll know that I have been lynched by my neighbours (so get your "first dibs" on my parts NOW, rofl)
  15. The thread title says "bits"....so what else apart from the spoiler went on? Looking good by the way
  16. Yes, I can see where you are coming from, but tbh, most races take place during the day. The meet was in the evening, so I guess you could sympathise.
  17. Thanks for the effort guys, was looking forward to this months, but alas thanks to **** heads... I personally blame the black Nismo kitted 350Z (not one of us), the silver RX-8 and his buddy in the Scooby (who were told off for revving). I hate idiots. Again thanks for organising the previous one, hope something new will take it's place (like the Bluewater meet)
  18. Came out of my local B&Q yesterday to find two men and a woman looking at my car in the car park. I walked towards my Zed just as they started to make their way to the entrance and said "Is that your car?" "Yes it is" "Looks very nice mate" "Sounds even better" They carried on towards the entrance when they turned around to see me get in the car. They stood there waiting for me to fire her up. As soon as the K1 rumbled to life they smiled and gave me a thumbs up.
