I done a window reset on mine before, and once you know how it's done, it's a 10 min job (honest). Just be careful not to snap the top door speaker trim like I did, when removing the doorcard.

No I haven, but will attempt during next wash. I usually use Meguiars Tech Wax on the whole car including the bonnet, but didn't think to use it on the edge. Will update when I've had a go.

No probs here either. I have the ESR induction kit (short) and even in rain no water splashes. The Varis carbon bonnet has rain drains under the mesh that lets the water flow to the radiator area.
