  1. Not a personal plate person myself, but if it's got a meaning to you, then that's all that matters
  2. Ah, so I was wrong then... Good thing that all the original owners were flash gits then
  3. I think your instincts about that manager may be correct. I may be wrong, but as far as I know, all UK GT models have the Rays. Even my mates 53 plate GT has Rays.
  4. Yes it was private, but I have to tell you that my 04 GT has Rays.
  5. Hmm, you remember that I copied your exact grounding points for when I fitted mine? So it seems awkward that yours is playing up. Got a stupid question tho. Yours is a 06 reg car (even tho it is a late registered 05), doesn't it fall under some sort of warranty issue? It's not like it's a regular wear and tear item. It's a safety item that shouldn't fail like this, right? Did you "pinch" any wiring when fitting the K&N Typhoon kit?
  6. As a comparison, I bought my 04 GT with 39k on the clock for £10500, and apart from a minor dent in a wheelarch and minor scratches, it's fine. The drivetrain and engine is in very good working order and hasn't skipped a beat since I bought it in January this year. Previous owner even had the wheels refurbed a few months before the sale. I know how it is to fall in love with a Zed, I did with the first one I saw, but luckily my mate was with me and I walked away from one at a Nissan dealer, which I travelled 130 miles to see btw. You need to follow your head rather than your heart, you'll end up enjoying the car more as a result.
  7. You could use a wheelbrush fro either Meguiars or Vikan, gets nicely into the wheels without having to take them off. Was amazed how clean I managed to get the insides. You tart hmmm im guessing there was a alternative motive bullet Well, she lives across the street from me. She is married and has children, so no alternative motives there. Just pure neighbourly behaviour. Although she's a MILF and she personally told me that her hubby only has half a set of balls a regular man has.....
  8. I hope you had some sort of rubber grommet for the longbolt into the spare wheel well, just to make sure no water gets in and/or causes corrosion.
  9. Oh god, not a barstool! You don't wanna know what happens to me after one pint....(I'm the happy kind of drunk tho...)
  10. That would be cool to have detailing meets. Only just yesterday did I wash the neighbours Audi. Her car was dirty and since I had the stuff out for my car I offered to do hers.
  11. Depends on what you call stupidly expensive. The Chillis have full sets of wheelnuts from 5Zigen that come in a variety of colours, black being one of them, in either short or long nut versions. Give them a shout, think there were in the region of £70
  12. Right, seeing as there is a varience in people over two days, I'm deffo bringing a sleeping bag now.... Or make puppy dog eyes for a spot in the garage....
  13. If BRO-T passes on them and the price is right, can I have 2nd dibs?
  14. Tell you what, if you still have the option to take the car back, then do so and buy done of the looked after ones that forum members are selling.
  15. It's a lap timer if anything...
  16. I've heard of exhibitionists, but......
  17. I'm sure a member would look after it for six months surely
  18. Oh bugger, I misread it to be calipers, sorry. You best send CS a PM then, our resident brake disc and pad supplier
  19. ZMANALEX has a few sets ready for sale AFAIK. Give him a PM, I'm sure he can help you out.
  20. ...needs sideskirts... Looking good there tho
  21. Nicely done Caroline. I notice there are no gears, is it an indoor bike?
  22. And I never got a reply back.....how rude!
  23. I did manage 150mph at a undisclosed UK public location...was going for the limit until a bend in the road approached...
  24. If you put it that way, we are all "biggots" in one way or the other. All shapes and sizes my friend... I'm just shocked and not only by the illiteracy of a university lecturer. Still, if it's just me... Well, I don't intend to sound offensive, but by saying that you are disappointed, aren't you profiling him? I.e. you have a certain expectation of what a university lecturer should be, but is that just your perception or is that the perception of everybody? Yes, anybody can spend their money as they see fit, as long as it stays in the same economy that it was earned in. Think of it this way, what about you have two buckets of water. The two buckets represent the countries and the water within represents the money in that country. Now one country has less water than the other, say the fuller bucket is the UK and say the half filled one is an eastern european country. If you you were to syphon some water from the fuller bucket to the less full bucket, what will eventually happen? btw, don't take everything I say seriously, I do like to mess about from time to time
